Comey’s father says Trump is scared of his son in a sad smear campaign

In the wake of his son’s firing from the FBI, James Comey’s dad came out to bash Trump, claiming the President is afraid of his son.

The cringe-fest of an interview aired on none other than CNN, who would bring on a decaying mouse carcass if they thought it had something negative to say about Trump.

J. Brien Comey actually thinks that President Trump is “scared to death” of his little boy. At least, that’s what he told CNN in a phone interview.

He also claims that Trump was upset because the former director of the FBI wouldn’t give the President 100% loyalty:

“[Comey] didn’t give him 100% loyalty, and he demands that of people who work with him,” the 86-year-old said. “[Comey] said he would give 100% honesty, but not loyalty.”

The elder Comey also took the time to call the President a liar, suggesting his son was fired because, “Jim tells the truth, (while) Trump runs around lying most of the day.”

He made it very clear that he does not like the President and would like to see him impeached as soon as possible, though he admits that it would be a long shot.

“Oh my God, I think he should be impeached immediately — yesterday. He’s a very incompetent guy. He’s out of his league.”

During the interview, he said Trump is “crazy as a hoot” and “should be in a home,” but stated that he also did not vote for Hillary, saying “we had lousy choices.” Now that I can agree with.

The question now is how does this interview affect Comey’s reputation? There’s an argument to be made that it looks like Comey needs his father to fight his battles for him, but could it help him to have someone vouch for his character? Even if it is his own family?
