Pelosi Wants You 9/11 Debris Field Mosque Protestors Investigated

Yeah, I stole the new name from Jim Treacher. But, hey, I wonder if Pelosi wants Harry Reid investigated? Wouldn’t that be a hoot?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, called for an investigation of those who are protesting the building of the Ground Zero Mosque on Tuesday. She told San Francisco’s KCBS radio:

“There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded,” she said. “How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we’ve been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City.”

So, now is the time to step up, Liberals, and put your money where your mouth is. One of your talking points is that those who are against the Cordoba Initiative are violating the 1st Amendment by calling for the government to stop it from being built, despite the fact that 99.99% of those against the mosque have repeatedly stated that they have every Constitutional Right to build it, not to mention property rights, but, they should really reconsider building it there for many reasons, and that government should not get involved. Yet, here you have Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, third in the line of presidential succession, calling for the government to investigate those engaged in Constitutionally protected Free Speech.

Will you stand up and denounce Pelosi? Will the ACLU? Any other left wing Rights groups? There is no quibbling here, Liberal Cordoba supperters: will you stand by Pelosi, or stand by the 1st? Choose.

While Bush was President, all we heard was how protest was a sincere form of patriotism. Now, the Speaker of the House is calling for investigations of those who protest. Good thing she doesn't have the Gestapo – oh wait, she does have the SEIU to “take care of things.”

Conservatives may not have agreed with liberals with they protested some things, but conservatives never said liberals did not have the right to protest. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it will be interesting to see the lack of response. I'm sure some will speak out against this, but overall I expect her to get a pass. It would be pathetic if it wasn't so predictable.

Yes and Republican leaders routinely forced the government to investigate and harass all protesters who didn't tow the line.

It was a political issue the minute they decided to build the mosque at Ground Zero. That's been the whole point all along. It was called “Cordoba House” to emphasize Muslim victory over Christianity and the dhimmification of the conquered population.

If they change the name and move to a different location, then I can buy into their claim of wanting peace and building a dialog.

And Pelosi using the waning days of her time in the Speaker's chair to launch an unconstitutional and abusive investigation into peaceful demonstrators is a fitting epitaph to the Democrat misrule of this country.

Key point to remember is the definition of “peace.” When Muslims say they want “peace,” they mean their version of “peace” with the world under Islamic rule. No one else would define peace this way because it means, by definition, that all other religions are treated as second-class citizens (no rights) or worse (killed).

It's actually a pretty good scam they have going. Nobody wants to die, and Islam would encounter much more resistance if they killed everybody that opposed them or refused to convert.

Enter the dhimmi. He pays higher taxes to maintain some property and religious rights, but never represents a threat to the Islamic leadership. He's even better than a slave because he's still working for his own profit and therefore productive, and is also much less likely to revolt.

If your goal is to propagate your culture as quickly as possible while minimizing internal revolt, Islam is a pretty good model. It's no accident it expanded to cover a huge portion of Asia in only a few hundred years.

Well that's pretty much what you'd expect one of the two top Demmican 'enforcers' to say, isn't it? Ms. Pelosi's role calls for her to be “bad cop” most of the time, and frankly, I'd say she's well-suited for her role. Now, expect that one or more Demmican “good cops” will suggest that investigations aren't necessary, but that those opposed to the Centre are indeed not operating in the true spirit of America.

And the game rolls on.

Whereas investigating the opposition is essential to rooting out threats to the republic.

The blogosphere is hyperactive with Ground Zero Mosque posts. It's impossible for one person to keep up with them (I've tried!). If you use Google Blog Search for 'Ground Zero Mosque' set to the last hour, they come up faster than you can comment on them.

Most of the posts seem to be against the Victory Mosque, but many of these bloggers are working on gut feel only, and are obviously not Islamically Aware, being confused about the true nature of Islam and regarding it as just another religion.

If we counterjihadists all spent an hour a day commenting on recent posts and pointing the bloggers in the right direction, then we could do a great educational job.
