The University Of Washington Protest: Socialism Makes You Stupid
Written By : John Hawkins

As you may have heard, yesterday there were protests at universities in several states over tuition hikes and funding cuts for schools. Well, University of Washington student, Nick Jacob, headed out to get some snaps of the UW protest and got an absolutely hilarious shot:

Socialist Students At The University Of Washington

Nick’s comment? “Pure irony. The students who are cutting class to protest budget cuts can’t even spell.”

PS: Which is more embarrassing? That signs misspelling “whose” were mass produced for a protest at a college or that the signs also advertise a website run by out-in-the-open Commies?

It’s easy to see what happened to the Washington GOP with loons like this living in Washington. Hogground aka POS blamed Rush Limbaugh when he was stunping for Obama here in 2008. Safe t say this totally refutes his statement about Rush. Hey POS, you still proud of that Obamam vote?

Socialism does not make you stupid. Only stupid people believe that Socialism will work THIS TIME!

This is just the preview (not so much this but it’s already happened at other colleges). Indocrtinated college students who have been taught by their radical leftist professors that rioting is an acceptable response to having your handouts taken away.

Just wait until this begins across entire cities when entitlements start to get cut…likely this summer and fall when state budgets face armageddon.

Makes me think its time to go and buy some personal protection. When these entitlement babies start going hungry, they are going to start breaking things. Entitlement babies always blame someone else for their problems, and generally use the logic of the politics of envy; “if he has something and I don’t, it must be that he’s the one that has done something wrong”. Ant and grasshopper time. Ants better be prepared to defend their nest.

    Already there, Celebrim.

I have enough for my family and for almost anyone who comes and asks for help. Those that demand I give to them, or try to take it by force, will receive special parting gifts chosen especially for them.

Two in the chest and one in the head works as well, Mr. Nixon. Or a simple blast from my 20-guage to the stomach area. Always an attention-getter!

True. But a dose of Mr 9mm between the ears works wonders as well.

Nixon really hopes the liberals pass on their pending revolution. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel when the right finished with them.

Possibly even funnier was the story about the leader of the protests at UC Davis – a fifth-year Women’s Studies major.

    Bill -

Back in the dim dark days of 1993 when my oldest headed off for university orientation, she was informed by her ‘advisor’ that most students took 5 years to graduate. When I questioned her about it, she replied that they encouraged students to take non-credit classes and other such time-wasters, so that they’d “find themselves”.

The wife and I figured immediately that this sort of advice was a thinly disguised ploy to increase university revenues by having students stay around longer and pay more in total tuition.

BTW, she graduated comfortably in 4 years.

Well, I suspect they will find themselves. Find themselves out $15-$20K that they can ill afford.

I just think back to how my father, who helped pay for my education on top of scholarship & my contribution, would have responded if I’d told him I was going to take an extra year to “find myself”, let alone while majoring in one something like the latest fanciful identity studies.

Bear in mind, this is a guy who drove a truck for a living for most of his life. Honestly, I don’t even think I’d have the presumption to make the suggestion.

Well, they did try to correct the signs, but whoever made them was barely literate.

“Well, they did try to correct the signs, but whoever made them was barely literate. ”

Speaking of barely literate, did you happen to see the piece linked over at Hot Air about the Detroit School Board president? If not, it’s tragically comic. Here’s the link:

    http://theblogprof.blogspot.com/2010/03/another-symptom-of-problem-detroit.html

In essence, the president of the Detroit School Board can’t compose a basic communication – and the press is hammering him about it. In responce, he’s acknowledged that he’s a terrible writer.

Chilling indictment of the educational process in Detroit, that.
