Tucson Schools to Impose Race-Based Discipline
Written By : Dave Blount

Our post-racial era of Hopey Change means apartheid for kids trapped in Tucson’s public schools. In addition to various programs that waste mountains of taxpayer money to promote not being Caucasian, the Tucson Unified School District has taken racial bean-counting to the ultimate extreme of absurdity by imposing a quota system for discipline:

The board is calling for a two-tiered form of student discipline. One for Black and Hispanic students; one for everyone else.

With the goal of creating a “restorative school culture and climate” that conveys a “sense of belonging to all students,” the board is insisting that its schools reduce its suspensions and/or expulsions of minority students to the point that the data reflect “no ethnic/racial disparities.”

From the section of the 52-page plan titled “Restorative School Culture and Climate,” subhead, “Discipline”:

“School data that show disparities in suspension/expulsion rates will be examined in detail for root causes. Special attention will be dedicated to data regarding African-American and Hispanic students.”

The board approved creating an “Equity Team” that will oversee the plan to ensure “a commitment to social justice for all students.”

Once the privileged ethnic groups lucky enough to be “oppressed” have reached their limit for discipline, only those animals that are less equal than the others are subject to punishment. Consequently,

Some behavior will be met with strict penalties; some will not. It all depends on the color of the student’s skin.

It sure doesn’t depend on the content of their character with liberals in charge.

This is what boggles my mind about the liberal mindset.

They kick and scream that everybody is equal and deserve to be treated equally, but then when a preponderance of one race or class refuses to act like mature adults, or even law abiding citizens, they scream we need to treat them specially to equal out the results of the rules being enforced.

If you don't want to abide by the rules of OUR civilized society GO HOME!

There is absolutely nothing good which can be said of a race-based disciplinary code.

And nothing good can come out of it.

This is the future of healthcare once the government takes over — quotas for healthcare.

How hard is it to imagine that at some time in the future, government administrators looking at the disparities in health and longevity amongst the various racial groups and deciding that the limited resources available should be allocated so as to "even out" the statistics. The imbalance of older whiter people sucking up the "benefits" (social security, medicare, etc.) and the younger less white groups trying to pay for it all will only serve to add further fuel to the fire.

Bet on it — quotas for healthcare.

Oh dear God I hadn't even thought of that! My wife has Type-1 diabetes and takes good care of herself. However, the type-2 diabetics are much more common and of course, "minorities and women are hardest hit" according to the MSM. So if this POS health care bill passes not only will I enjoy subpar healthcare, the government will tell my wife to take a seat because some minority (who has Type-2 diabetes and doesn't give a crap about his health) must be seen first?!? Gasp… urk… I'm choking on my own rage here!
