Carly Fiornia has an interesting take on the way that Donald Trump has thrown his hat into the Presidential ring. While he may not be the one who makes it through 2016, the points he makes are good ones- and every candidate should be listening, because Trump truly has his finger on the pulse of American issues[1]:

Carly Fiorina, the only woman so far on the Republican side running for the 2016 presidential nomination, understands why billionaire Donald Trump is getting so much attention lately.

And it’s not because of “Donald Trump.” It’s because of the issues he’s raising.

“It’s interesting. I have been in New Hampshire now for six days, and I have not been asked a single question about Donald Trump,” Fiorina told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday. “On the other hand, I think Donald Trump taps into an anger that I hear every day.

“People are angry that a common sense thing like securing the border or ending sanctuary cities is somehow considered extreme,” she added. “It’s not extreme, it’s common sense. We need to secure the border. People are also angry at a professional political class, of both parties, that talks a good game, gives good speeches, but somehow nothing ever really changes.”
