NFL Opening Day!
Written By : William Teach

We’ll give it a shot, see if we can keep this going throughout the season.

Who’s playing?

  • Cowboys (-5) at Bucs
  • Detroit and New Orleans (-14)
  • Dolphins at Falcons (-4)
  • Jets at Texans (-4)
  • Broncos at Bengals (-5)
  • Eagles (2 1/2) at Panthers
  • Jaugars at Colts (-6 1/2)
  • Vikings (-4) at Browns
  • Chiefs at Ravens (-13)
  • Redskins at Giants (-6 1/2)
  • Rams at Seahawks (-7 1/2)
  • 49ers at Cardinals (-5 1/2)
  • Bears at Packers (-4)
  • Bills at Patriots (-11)  I have T.O. meltdown at 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter
  • Chargers (-10) at Raiders

And, we had Steelers over Titans 13-10

Predictions:

  • NFC Division winners: Giants, Falcons, Bears, Cardinals
  • AFC Division winners: Steelers, Colts, Patriots, Chargers
  • NFC Wildcard: Eagles (that pains me), Panthers
  • AFC Wildcard: Titans, Houston
  • Superbowl: Giants vs. Steelers
  • Champion: Giants 32-24

What’ve you got?

Hmm, I'm thinking Pats in the AFC Conference title game. Cards are one and done.

AFC Division Champs: Pats, Ravens, Titans, Chargers

    AFC Wildcard: Steelers, Broncos

NFC Division Champs: Giants, Falcons, Vikings, Seahawks

    NFC Wildcard: Saints, Bears

    AFC Championship: Pats at Ravens

    NFC Championship: Giants at Vikings

Superbowl: Pats over Vikings, close game until 3rd quarter when Brady starts hitting Edelman and Welker on quick slants as the Vikings front starts tiring out. AP keeps on gashing the Pats defense but can't hit as often as Brady does. 48-28, final score.

Hey Jasamc, how the heck are you?

    I like your superbowl analysis!!

I have to say this post is a welcome relief from all the other stuff going on in this crazy world.

Vikings in the NFC championship? I don't think so.

Think Eagles, Giants & Packers coming out of the NFC.

Jets, Patriots & Steelers out of the AFC.

Haven't you fellas heard – the government's going to step in and balance out the league so that the Lions can actually win the Super Bowl this year. It's part of their deal with the UAW and is based on the theory that all those Michigan autoworkers will be less disgruntled and agitated if they're pacified by a Lion's winning streak.
