Angry Mom Grounds Her Daughter After Finding ‘Drugs’ In Her Room – Then Learns Embarrassing Truth

No parent ever wants to believe that their child could be on drugs. So when one mom found colorful pills in her teenage daughter’s nightstand, she was not happy — and texted her to tell her that she was grounded. But then things took on an interesting twist.

One mum had the shock of her life when her daughter asked her to find her calculator in her bedroom while she was at school – and she discovered colourful ‘pills’ instead.

Resulting text messages have since gone viral, racking up 27,000 retweets after it was posted to the social network by the teenager.

The exchange starts when the young girl, Ashley Banks, asks her mum to find her calculator and put it in the mailbox so someone can pick it up.

She advises that it’s probably in her nightstand and waits for the response.

Instead, her mum sends her a picture of a bag with suspicious-looking contents…

Uh oh. She tells Ashley to come home immediately and warns her that she is grounded, but the teen insists they’re not drugs and tells her mum to put them in water.

When her mother questions her reasoning, Ashley tells her: “Just do it.”

Well, hey, at least they weren’t drugs, right?? The mom probably got to hear a lot of teasing from her daughter when she got home.
