Obama Finally Gets CALLED OUT By the Mainstream Media

Appearing on 60 Minutes this Sunday night, President Obama was called out by interviewer Steve Kroft. Kroft pressed Obama for answers on foreign policy, calling Obama’s efforts “an embarrassment.”

Western Journalism reported:

From the beginning, when Obama bristled at being tied to a timeline for the results of his air strike policy against ISIS, Kroft interrupted the president and challenged Obama’s broad, hazy statements.

Citing Obama’s own words that America is the leader, Kroft asked Obama about Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s recent military escalation in Syria, in which he said Russia is, “bombing the people that we are supporting.”

Obama started winding up for an answer about Ukraine.

“He’s challenging your leadership, Mr. President,” Kroft interjected. “He’s challenging your leadership.”

Obama demurred.

“My definition of leadership would be leading on climate change, an international accord that potentially we’ll get in Paris,” Obama said. “My definition of leadership is mobilizing the entire world community to make sure that Iran doesn’t get a nuclear weapon.”

Next, Kroft asked Obama about a U.S. program that was discontinued last week, which trained 5,000 moderate Syrian rebels. The program ended after it was revealed that just a few of the rebels actually took up arms.

Kroft asked Obama why he moved forward with the program even though he thought it wouldn’t succeed. Obama tried giving a vague answer, when Kroft cut in: “If you expect 5,000 and you get five, it shows that somebody someplace along the line did not — made — you know, some sort of a serious miscalculation. It’s an embarrassment.”
