Obama Sends More F-16s to Egypt
Since rabidly anti-Semitic,anti-American Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi was elected, he has been working to permanently cement the terrorist-friendly Muslim Brotherhood into power. Although Morsi came to power in a legitimate election, whether Egypt can still be considered a democracy at this point is an open question. What’s not an open question is that the regime is less friendly to the United States and Israel than Egypt was under Hosni Mubarak.
Since that’s the case, should we be borrowing money from China in order to build F-16s for a regime like that? Barack Obama certainly thinks so. That’s why he just sent four more F-16s to Egypt.
On the other hand, some Republicans in Congress say “no.”
“Friends don’t send U.S. taxpayer-funded F-16s and tanks to the enemies of their friends,” said Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01).
But is Mohammed Morsi really an enemy of Israel? Well, in 2010 he said,
“Dear brothers, we must not forget to nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews and all those who support them. They must be nursed on hatred. The hatred must continue.”
Our government shouldn’t be working to keep guns away from American citizens while it goes further into debt to send F-16s to a regime run by a hostile religious fanatic like Mohammad Morsi.
