EPA Gives $30,000 of Our Money to Leftist Unitarian Church

The arrogance of our lefty rulers is almost as conspicuous as their hostility to the core population:

The Environmental Protection Agency has given $30,000 to a Unitarian church that preaches about “white privilege” and says that America is “structurally racist.”

This is justified because the “church” also preaches lies in support of the global warming dogma that is exploited by the Regime to expand its power.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton, Florida, received an “environmental justice grant” for education and training about sea level rise and climate change, the agency announced [last] Wednesday.

“EPA’s environmental justice grants help communities across the country understand and address exposure to multiple environmental harms and risks at the local level,” said Matthew Tejada, the director of the Office of Environmental Justice.

“Environmental justice” means they steal from you, give the money to their friends, and pretend it has something to do with the environment. It is only part of the moonbattery indulged in by this beneficiary of the EPA’s largesse:

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton is a “liberal religious community” that currently offers classes on “Being White,” and holds town meetings on Black Lives Matter. The church supports same-sex marriage and has a climate-change working group.

Church member Carolyn Brown wrote in the latest monthly newsletter that…

…the church’s leader, the Rev. Ms. Harris Riordan, recently led the congregation on a “privilege walk.”

Riordan recently preached a sermon called “On Being White,” where she said she wants to become a “White Ally” to combat the “systemic, structural racism” of America.

Have your pastor drop all the Jesus stuff and preach this instead. Your church too could benefit from the never-ending federal spending spree.

BTW, the EPA justified that handout of our money with this steaming load:

“EPA awarded the Environmental Justice Small Grant to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to create a Resilience Adaptation Community Toolkit (ReACT), to provide education and training to reduce public health risks associated with increasingly severe storms and storm surges in South Delray Beach, Fla. and the Pearl City area of Boca Raton, Fla.,” [an EPA spokesweenie] said. “The grant will be especially vital for these communities, which have been severely damaged by recent and increasingly intense hurricanes.”

No major hurricane has made landfall in the USA since Wilma in 2005. We are in the longest hurricane drought in recorded history.

But that’s only in the real world. In the world of liberal ideology inhabited by our ruling class, hurricanes are more numerous and more intense, just as predicted, as a result of insufficient taxes and regulation.
