Feds Devote Their Attention to Potty Parity

While the terrorist maniacs in Iran complete their work on nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them to our heartland, the world economy staggers toward near-term collapse, and our borders are overrun by millions of criminal aliens, here[1]‘s what our rulers busy themselves spending what’s left of our money on:

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held hearings Wednesday on the “Potty Parity Act,” a bill that seeks to address the unequal number of restroom facilities for women in federal buildings by requiring at least a 1-to-1 ratio for toilets, including urinals, in women’s and men’s restrooms.

“At least a 1-to-1 ratio” means inequality is okay, so long as men get the short end — even in buildings where there are likely to be many more men than women, as the decree will be imposed on “all properties managed by the National Parks Service, the Defense Department, [and] the Federal Bureau of Prisons.”

But don’t snigger, this is a very serious issue:

Supporters of the bill say women forced to wait in long restroom lines are at risk of health issues, including abdominal pain, cystitis and other urinary tract infections.

Hold your wallet with both hands — I think our rulers have discovered another crisis.

The Congressional Budget Office has not put a price tag yet on the legislation.

That’s okay; the government is so far past being able to pay for its never-ending spending spree that it doesn’t make any difference what anything costs. Just put it on the tab for our grandkids to worry about. Next up: nationwide potty parity for transsexuals[2].
