Nebraska School Lets Seniors Pose With Guns in Yearbook Pics While Liberal Heads Explode!

A Nebraska school allowed students to pose with guns for their senior portraits, with parents approving the decision. Liberal anti-gun nuts, of course, lost their minds, even though guns aren’t actually allowed on school grounds.

To the outrage of liberal anti-gun groups, the 50 students who are graduating from Broken Bow High School in rural Nebraska can “tastefully” pose with their guns in senior yearbook portraits. The school board unanimously approved this idea recently:

“The board I believe felt they wanted to give students who are involved in those kinds of things the opportunity to take a senior picture with their hobby, with their sport, just like anybody with any other hobby or sport,” Superintendent Mark Sievering told the Omaha World-Herald.

Parents asked for the change, according to the superintendent, and the board’s 6-0 vote in favor sealed the deal. The rural community of some 3,500 people in central Nebraska, about 65 miles north of Kearney, will maintain its policy of no guns on school grounds.

It must really burn their backsides, knowing that so many people not only own guns, but love them enough to leave their children pose with them in school pictures. At least some people in this country still have a modicum of common sense.
