Rambo Grandma is Shot Four Times by Two Thugs; Pulls Out Her Own Gun and Sends One to the Hospital
We all have a choice in life: a choice to be defenseless, or a choice to be able to fight back if necessary. Paris Ainsworth made the latter choice, so when she was ambushed and shot four times by armed thugs, she was able to defend herself.
A grandmother has been dubbed ‘Rambo’ after pulling out a gun to fight off two alleged armed robbers who attacked her in her Detroit driveway.
Paris Ainsworth, 51, was shot four times in the late-night attack, but was able to return fire with eight bullets from her licensed .45 caliber handgun.
The health worker said her weapon saved her life.
‘If I wouldn’t have had my gun I would be dead today,’ the grandmother-of-four told WDIV. ‘This is ludicrous, the way that they are just robbing and trying to take stuff from people, and killing people.’
Not only was Ainsworth able to protect herself, her actions also led to these thugs being arrested and taken off the street. The problem with gun control is that it penalizes law-abiding citizens like Ainsworth and turns all of us into nothing more than sitting targets.
