Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Responds To Clinton’s Statement Regarding Lawsuit
Written By : William Teach

Of course, by now, you will have heard that Hillary Clinton made a statement on an Ecuadorian TV station that the Obama admin. will sue Arizona over their illegal immigration law, a statement made right before Brewer met with PeBo, where it was not mentioned. Last night, she responded in a conversation with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren

VAN SUSTEREN: Now, that is huge news because no official decision has been announced about the Obama administration suing Arizona. So what is the deal? And could Secretary of State Clinton be in hot water with President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder? A Department of Justice spokesperson will only say the Justice Department continues to review the law. The spokesperson will not confirm or deny the substance of Secretary Clinton’s statement.

Joining us by phone is Arizona governor Jan Brewer. Good evening, Governor. And before we get to the question whether or not the president’s kept his word on his two weeks he’ll give you information, tell me, have you heard anything about whether or not the Justice Department has made a decision to sue Arizona over your new statute?

GOV. JAN BREWER, R-ARIZ. (Via telephone): No, we have not! What a disappointment! You know, when you hear from the president of the United States and he gives you a commitment, you would think that they would stand up and stand by their word. It is totally disappointing.

No disrespect, GovB, but, I would think that pretty much everyone knows that Obama’s word is about as solid and reliable as diarrhea, and comes forth at a similar volume (your welcome for that Friday morning visual!)

VAN SUSTEREN: Well, she actually said something that might be a little — something that the people of Arizona might be happy about because she said that it’s the federal government’s job to determine immigration policy. Isn’t that what you all have been asking, is the federal government to do something? I mean, she said it’s their job. I mean, if nothing else, is that she’s laid it out, you know — you know, to the president, Do it!

BREWER: Well, exactly, you know? Secretary Clinton understands it is their responsibility. And maybe they’re saying that we don’t have to do their job. Maybe they are going to step up.

But it was an unfortunate way in which we heard today. I was down in Tucson. And to get this information released to me vis-a-vis that they heard of the lawsuit through an Ecuadorian interview is outrageous! It would seem to me that if they were going to file suit against us that they definitely would have contacted us first and informed us before they informed citizens, by the way, of another nation.

Rather than fixing the issue, Obama and his Peeps would rather go after those trying to fix the problem, and block all efforts to resolve the root issue. Consider the BP spill: the Coast Guard has shut down oil sucking barges. Who ordered that? Based on the way this regime does business, you know it had to come from someone within. No CG commander would even consider stopping the barges and face the public wrath. This regime has always been more interested in assigning blame and pushing their own agenda rather than looking for ways to fix the problems.

Absolutely no surprise here. Obama knows he's on the losing side of this issue, and announcing his intention to sue Arizona (who is doing a job the Feds won't) in the midst of his impotence on the oil spill would send what's left of his approval rating straight through the floor.

The solution? Send the most expendable member of the Administration out to take one for the team. Brewer hammered Obama too, but the headlines will be about her calling out Hillary. An utterly cowardly move by Obama.

By the way, is anyone else thinking a Brewer-Jindal-Christie 2012 primary would look awfully good?

Hmmm.. Hispanics vote for Obama, so he sues to allow them to keep entering illegally. Hmmm.. gulf oil damage justifies a moratorium on drilling in our offshore waters so we become more dependent on Arabs who are Muslims. Obama was eaised a Muslim. Hmmm. And now US Army trained Muslims are going AWOL in Texas. SDSS.

Suing seems to be the way Mr. Obama's administration wants to do much of its business. So much so that maybe the Obama administration should coin a new catchphrase which borrows heavily from their buds out in Cupertino –

    “There's a lawsuit for that.”

I'll bet they could commission a snazzy new logo for it and everything. And one of Ms. Pelosi's “entrepreneurial” slackers er, artists could make a million on the project.
