Killing the Nuns Americans Won’t Kill
Written By : Dave Blount

What a surprise — like so many other criminal aliens who commit crime after crime, Carlos A. Martinelly Montano had already been captured and released by the feds before killing a nun while indulging in the favorite undocumented Democrat pastime of driving drunk:

The Virginia man suspected in a drunken-driving crash that killed a Catholic nun in Prince William County this weekend is an illegal immigrant and repeat offender who was awaiting deportation and who federal immigration authorities had released pending further proceedings, police said Monday.

Carlos Montano, a county resident, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and drunken driving. Mr. Montano had been arrested two other times on drunken-driving charges, and on at least one of those occasions county police reported him to federal authorities.

Montano was “out on his recognizance” when he managed to make the following contribution to America’s rich multicultural tapestry:

The crash at around 8:30 Sunday morning killed Sister Denise Mosier and injured two other nuns as they were driving to a retreat at the Benedictine Monastery in Bristow, Va. The two injured nuns were in critical but stable condition late Monday, according to St. Gertrude High School in Richmond run by the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia.

By comparison, Montano himself was hardly scratched:

Mr. Montano was being treated for injuries he received in the crash and was expected to be released from the hospital into police custody as early as Monday evening.

Comments Rep. Harold Rogers (R-KY):

“Now, we see the tragic results this ‘virtual amnesty’ policy of the Obama administration has caused. A life could have been saved had ICE just simply done their job to begin with.”

But the last thing our liberal rulers want is ICE doing its job. ACORN can only create so many votes out of thin air. The underclass needs to be vastly expanded if America is to be “fundamentally transformed.”

A white nun (i.e. a Christian) is killed by a drunk ILLEGAL immigrant who was TWICE released by the feds for previous crimes. Hussein just shrugs and goes about his business of playing golf.

BUT, if a black imam had been killed by this ILLEGAL criminal, you can bet that the “mongrel” would have postponed his round of golf, whipped out his teleprompter and given a stern speech ON THE PERILS OF DRUNK DRIVING.

    • Karma Hoser

And if it was a white male killing said imam or mullah, the left would be screaming “hate crime” all over the place!!

  • Lee

Given the sordid past of the individual and the fact that he was not locked up, doesn't this make ICE an accessary to manslaughter? Isn't there some point at which the system and those who run it should be held accountable for their actions (or lack of action)?

    • StanW

If America-haters like Vega have their way, these types of stories will disappear from the news in this country… becvause they will become so common as to no longer be news.

Have we heard yet from the Mexican Consulate on whether or not we have their permission to talk to this “undocumented Democrat”?

      • Trench_Raider

The things is, Stan, that these stories are already fairly common….far too common as none should by rights occur in the first place.
I've long said that illegal immigration is the biggest danger this country faces today….far more dangerous than terrorism.

Don't believe me? Compare the number of US citizens killed annually by illegals to those killed in the same period in Iraq or Afghanistan. Compare the cost to the country of illegals to the funds expended on these wars. Now ask yourself again which is the biggest threat.

(and this does not even hit on the demographic damage and the threat posed to our dominant language and culture by unchecked third world immigration. I have problem enough even convincing my fellow conservatives that this is a problem due to their cowardice at the prospect of being labled as a “racist” byt their enemies)

        • StanW

Preaching to the choir, Trench. I see it here in the DFW area all too often. Death and crippling injury of American citizens by criminals that should bot be allowed to breathe Texas air. It disgusts me to no end.

And I've been called a racists for less. ;)

          • Trench_Raider

I feel you, man. There is not a large urban area in Texas that does not feel the negative effects of the illegal invasion. I live that reality too….probably even more so given my profession.

Oh yes, and I've been slandered as a “racist” for far less too. I recently heard someone put how we should respond to such meaningless name calling very well: “I will no longer be held hostage by a meaningless word coined by a marxist.”

            TR

        • Mr. EMT

          TR is correct.
The only thing “new” about an illegal alien murdering a US citizen while drinking and driving is that it was a nun.
We have already heard he stories of rape, murder, and other mayhem with the addendum to the story including “the alien was either deported after murdering someone, or had already been deported “x” number of times and is in holding awaiting yet another deportation.

In other news, ICE reports fewer deportations this year than last year.
Liberals try to spin as “fewer violations of immigration reported”

  • Rorschach256

You know those nuns had it coming, they are such teases after all… /sarc

  • Rorschach256

what is ironic is that the Catholic Church has been foursquare against enforcing immigration law, so in reality this is rather symmetrical…

  • Christopher_Taylor

I'd be willing to sit down and consider a form of amnesty like the last bill IF we secured the border, sent all the scum like this to Mexico and left only the hard working families and people trying to make a life and become Americans here. After we did all that? Sure, I'd consider letting illegals apply for citizenship.

    • StanW

They fooled us last time with Amnesty, but no border security. We know have that failure as an example. No longer do we beleive the Washington politicians when they say “Give us Amnesty first, and we'll talk about securing the border later”. That is a recipe for disappointment.

This time, it should be clear. “Secure the border, enforce employment rules, and deport… THEN AND ONLY THEN will amnesty be discussed.”

      • Rorschach256

Stan is right, Tip O'Neil and Ted the drunk swimmer PROMISED Reagan that if he would only agree to a general amnesty that they would allow him to close the border. But they lied (as is typical of progressives.) and reneged on the deal after Amnesty was passed.

      • Christopher_Taylor

Sure, and that's what I said. Get all that taken care of, THEN we can talk about amnesty, and I'd probably support it. But only once we have security and dump the criminals and scum back over the border.

        • Trench_Raider

The only problem with that is that it would leave the threat to our demographics, language, and culture caused by large scale immigration by primitive, unskilled third worlders intact. I say no ammnesty…period.
In any event, do we REALLY want to give citizenship to people who had so little respect for our laws and sovereignty in the first place that they felt the need to break into the country? Do we REALLY think that these “poor hard working” people will eventually become productive citizens who will respect the rule of law?

We need to stem the illegal tide and then take a long hard look at corecting our immigration laws….although not in a manner you might agree with.

          TR

          • Christopher_Taylor

See, this is where we part ways, because that's exactly the same argument used by people against Irish, Italian, German, and other immigrants in the 19th and early 20th century.

          • Trench_Raider

            Whatever.
There is no comparison between the immigrants of the late 19th/early 20th century and the third world hordes of today. Their are many, many differences in both the immigrants themselves and the situation in which they find themselves. Moreover the immigrants of the past were not part of a purposeful program of displacement of the majority population of the nation…a sort of “soft genocide” if you will.

            TR

          • Trench_Raider

Oops…hit the “post” button too soon.
Go read “State of Emergency” as a useful corrective to the leftist inspired cliche' you parot above.
            TR

      • Mr. EMT

Amnesty… off the damn table, period.
        Never should happen ever.
However, if you are here illegally, i do not mind there being a process of gaining citizenship. You have to filter who is here with honest intent, and who is here with criminal intent.
Oh wait, there is already a legal process.

  • Trench_Raider

    Two points:
-As has been pointed out before, while not universal, drunk driving is epidemic amongst Mexican immigrants, both legal and illegal. This is due to cultural norms in Mexico as well as the fact that drunk driving laws are not enforced in that country. It was experience as the intake supervisor at the last prison I worked in that a shockingly high percentage of our felony DUI inmates and 100% of our DUI with a child passenger intakes were illegal Mexicans. So van Helsing is pretty spot on in refer to DUI as the “favorite pasttime” of illegals. If we reduce the numbers of illegals, convictions (not to mention deaths related to) for DUI will decrease sharply.
-Once again this is yet another example of a crime that was 100% preventable as the criminal in question should have never been in this country in the first place. The list is endless and keeps growing every year.

      Couldn't agree more, TR.

About a year before I left San Diego, there was a case of a drunken illegal who sideswiped a disabled car left on the shoulder of the freeway. He pretty well took out the passenger side of his pickup. His pickup slid to a stop a little ways down the road and Señor Illegal fled the scene on foot. But the bastard left his nine year-old son mortally injured in the passenger seat. The next day Señora Illegal was on the teevee news tearfully explaining that he wasn't a bad man, but that the unjust laws made him abandon his son like that. He, in the meantime had fled back to Baja California and she vowed that she'd wait for him here in the States until he could come back to her.

The whole episode was extraordinarily distasteful and shameful on multiple levels. In the time I lived there I heard many stories on the news about illegals causing death and mayhem on the highways, but that one story has stuck with me because it's so tragic.

And as you point out, it was all totally preventable.

  • UFKA_Smithwick

I wonder why no one has shown up to laud illegals on this post? They're all harding working and honest, and our nation couldn't exist without them right?

  • Dave

Of course the fact that Montano was arrested twice for drunk driving and reported to the INS in during the Bush administration doesn't factor into your flaying of the current administration. Plus the fact that INS has deported more illegal immigrants during the first two years of the Obama administration than they did during any two prior years makes Rep. Rogers comments total BS.

    • UFKA_Smithwick

I don't think you'll find anyone here who claims that Bush did an adequate job on border security.

      • Dave

Or anyone who will admit that the Obama administration is doing a better job.

        • UFKA_Smithwick

Or for that matter that the sky is green, or grass blue.

Bush was criticized for doing a bad job. So is Obama.

Obama is further criticized for using the full force of the federal government to come down on the one state trying to do the job he won't. He's a bully on this and he's on the wrong side. Neither of those things makes me feel like complimenting him.

  • Karma Hoser

Maybe the Illegal Alien will now have a slew of ACLU lawyers sniveling in court saying that he was drunk due to stress from being chased, etc.. According to liberal doctrine, nothing is an Illegal Alien's fault!

  • Karmahoser

This illegal alien, along with the drug runners, rapists, murderers, child molesters, etc. are STILL being kissed up to by the left!!
Next, we'll hear some sniveling waste-of-flesh ACLU puke saying he's a viiiictim of our society!!

Aw, this was a really nice post. In idea I wish to put in writing like this moreover – taking time and precise effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and certainly not seem to get something done.
