Moving Video of New Mother Holding Premature Baby for the First Time Will Melt Your Heart

Nothing is more beautiful than when a new mother meets her child for the first time. And this incredible video shows how intense those emotions can be beautifully.

The first time a mother holds her newborn baby will always go down as one of the best moments in her life.

Entire internet parenting forums, photograph albums and mothers’ groups are dedicated to attempting to describe that specific feeling and put it into words or a still.

But perhaps this incredibly touching video is the closest attempt yet.

It shows new mum, Jessica (whose last name is still unknown) holding her newborn, 10-weeks premature son, Hugo, on her chest, after a nurse laid him there some 60 hours after he was born.

… In the video, Jessica is seen breaking down into tears – clearly overwhelmed at the beauty and love of meeting her son.

Premature birth can be terrifying, and cause serious emotional stress. But it also makes moments like this all the more powerful.
