Iran to build a statue of the captured US sailors who strayed into its waters as TOURIST ATTRACTION

I suppose the Iranian government doesn’t have much to celebrate if they’re considering building a statue of the captured US sailors[1] who were held for no reason for 16 hours. This wasn’t a monumental or purposeful capture, and it will be an equally pointless statue.

What’s sad is that Iran considers this a naval monument. I thought monuments were to symbolize an actual accomplishment or something important? Building a statue of this as a tourist attraction is extremely pointless.
