Zimbabwe to Supply Iran With Uranium
Written By : Dave Blount

Now that social justice has replaced neo-colonialism in Zimbabwe, the former Breadbasket of Africa is one of the worst basket cases on the planet, featuring racist oppression, fallow confiscated farms, starvation, and essentially worthless currency. The drawbacks of having a moonbat like Oxford-educated socialist Robert Mugabe in charge don’t end there — the whole world could be affected, as Mugabe steps up to provide Iran with uranium for its nuclear weapons program:

Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Zimbabwe’s foreign minister, said the sanctions — which prohibit member states from providing Iran with raw materials that it could use to make a nuclear weapon — were unfair and hypocritical.

He said that Zimbabwe, which is also the subject of sanctions over human rights abuses perpetrated by President Robert Mugabe’s supporters, would benefit economically from the agreement.

A leaked intelligence report suggests Iran will be awarded with exclusive access to Zimbabwe’s uranium in return for providing the country with fuel.

Those sanctions work wonders, don’t they? No wonder moonbats prefer them to the credible threat of force.

Reason 812 that the wrong side won in Rhodesia.
Shame on us (and expecially the British) for not backing them.

Well depending on how all these uprisings in the middle east go Mugabe may soon have a number of new customers.

Enough to feed all his starving people, or you know, buy him a couple more mansions.

Being a leftwing/populist dictator is good for the old bank account.

Pal, left wing governments are not dictatorships by nature (free capitalism, you know), but formerly left wing governments can be. As with Nazi Germany, the formerly Socialist Nazi party went right wing and Germany became a “corporate” dictatorship.

      • http://www.facebook.com/jayhoffer Justin Hoffer

Lies, lies and more lies. Hitler expanded government to epic proportions, had universal health care, and controlled the economy through tyrannical levels of state intervention in business. The Nazi party owned the corporations in all but name, telling them how to operate, how much to produce, what profit margins they could take, how many people they could employ, how much they could pay people. Hitler was a leftist, through and through, and none of your pathetic attempts to rewrite history will ever change that the extreme left is dictatorship and the extreme right is no government at all. Dictatorships are left wing by nature and that will never change.

That’s exactly how the Nazi party worked, or should I say “National Socialist Party.” There was a huge amount of cronyism too, with big industrialists working to create policy they liked, and like all dictatorships, a huge amount of corruption.

Thanks, I needed a good laugh.

The left is characterized by larger government particularly with regards to economic matters.

Now if you can show where those governments reduced the scope of government and it’s involvement in the economy . . . ?

Doesnt matter how many times you say it, it wont be true. The nazis, or national socialists, were not “right wing” by any stretch of the imagination. Is it opposite day, everyday, in your widdle head?

      • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

Hitler was never right wing, moron.

Ugh. That picture makes me nauseous. I sincerely hope that Mugabe dies a slow, excruciatingly painful death.

A fast exit will do even better.

A fast exit from power? Absolutely. A fast exit from life? Eh, not so much… he deserves to suffer.

Wow finally a story with substance.

Zimbabwe is now under a dictatorship, Mugabe, where we have been finding another Cuba story unravelling without the benefits of socialism.

    • Anonymous

another Cuba story unravelling without the benefits of socialism.

b/c people are leaving the usa in droves to move to Cuba(or any socialist country) to take advantage of the benefits of their socialism.

      • Anonymous

First Cuba is a communist country. Second, one or the droves you talk about just can’t move to another country at will.

        • http://www.facebook.com/jayhoffer Justin Hoffer

Communism is merely the extreme form of socialism, just like anarcho-capitalism is the extreme form of capitalism.

        • Anonymous

So these wonderful socialist countries arent taking new citizens or the citizens of the USA cant just leave and move to one of the socialist countries?

        • http://www.wordaroundthenet.com Christopher Taylor

There aren’t any real communist countries, just ones that claim to be. They never make it past Marx’s step 2 of socialist control before turning everything over to the people.

They get free healthcare that is the envy of the world! They have 100% employment and officially they are very free and happy.

Why wouldn’t we all want to flee there in droves?

/odd then how many Cubans come here and how virtually none return after being hit with the harsh reality that is the United States (the single most oppressive, racist, and uncaring regime in the history of the world).

    • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

All Socialist states end up as dictatorships, when the leaders refuse to step down and assume absolute authority.

    • Anonymous

Do you view socialist regimes and dictatorships as mutually exclusive?

      • Anonymous

But of course my friend, if by socialist you mean what I mean, liberal-socialism or what’s also called social democracy. Look at the entirety of Europe as just one example of a collection of socialist countries.

        • http://www.facebook.com/jayhoffer Justin Hoffer

All of which are suffering from major economic woes, and many of which have only been democracies for two decades, many of which currently have unelected representatives in the EU.

        • Anonymous

Ah so you are ignorant. We have identified the problem.

Socialist merely means joint ownership of the mans of production, nothing about that precludes a dictatorship.

Liberals/progressives always do that: whatever their pet cause is they tack on “and is free and peaceful and works perfectly” to the end of the actual definition so they can always distance themselves from whatever results their policies actually produce.

“No no, the USSR isn’t an example of communism. You see I support communism because it’s a system of government/economics where everything is owned by the state *and* it magically works out well and everyone is free and happy. So no, the USSR wasn’t communist because it failed!”

          • Anonymous

“Ah so you are ignorant. We have identified the problem.”

We’d identified that problem a while back.

        • Anonymous

BTW: the per capita GDP for the EU is 29,729, the US is 47,701.

You’re free to move there if you wish, but it will mean a major cut in your standard of living.

      Ok Shergald.
I meant to hit this before I went to work, but I had to g put your friends the criminals in jail.
Anyway, I know you leftists are generally very ignorant of history, so allow me to educate you. This is something I know quite a bit about after all….
ZANU (the terrorist organization that the eventually became Mugabe’s current political party) was backed by a rogue’s gallery of the non-Soviet marxist states. They received weapons and aid from Cuba and Yugoslavia as well as far left African states such as Tanzania and (especially) Mozambique. But there biggest patron was China. (Rhodesian security forces actually killed a number of Chinese “advisors” during some of their raids on ZANLA training camps) ZANLA was Marxist in it’s outlook and belief structure and sought the formation of a one party marxist state. The gurrent goverment of Zimbabwe Rhodesia is mixture of marxist/socialist policy combined with traditional African “big man” type tribalism, with alot of anti-White racism and “payback” thrown in. In otherwords, right up your alley.
The current plight of Zimbabwe Rhodesia is solcialism/marxism taken to it’s logical (and destructive) end game. You can try to deflect by saying “oh they are a dictatorship rather than a European style democracy” all you want. But you are only lying to yourself.
By the by, I note that no were in any of your posts/trolls on this thread do you actually come out and condemn Mugabe and what he has done to a once fine country. Wonder why that is….

And yet you couldn’t manage to respond to the actual story.

They only want to fuel power plants with it, that’s the ticket! Where’s Joe Wilson to lie about Yellowcake sales when you need him?

  • Martin Hale

Mr. Mugabe must need a new home or plane or other big ticket item. That man can’t be gone from power fast enough. Ideally to be held to account for the devastation he’s caused to the country. Of course that won’t happen. You can bet your bottom dollar that whomever takes over from Mr. Mugabe will be just as bad, or potentially worse.
