CAUGHT! Thugs Who Shouted ‘Allah Is Great’ Were Responsible For Good Friday Parade STAMPEDE That Left 17 Wounded! [VIDEO]
A group of men suspected of starting a stampede at a Good Friday procession created terror among people by screaming out loud, ‘Allah is Great’. Of course that kind of stunt did not go well…
So far, there have been eight people that have been arrested for being suspected of the incidents in the Spanish city of Seville. The stampede that ensued after the obvious shouting caused 17 people to take an unwanted trip to the hospital for treatment. Local authorities claimed that it was two of the eight that were arrested that shouted out ‘Ala es grande’ – ‘Allah is Great’- and others words that would strike fear into parade participants.
Eight people are still receiving treatment in the hospital, of those eight is a 60 year-old man who endured a head injury which has put him in serious condition.
There were still 100 more people that had to receive treatment as well, though most of it was done on the scene of the stampeded. Apparently the suspects number so far up to seven… all locals except for one Sengalese national, all aged between 19 and 47. As it turns out, all of them have long rap sheets.
The authorities were quick and adamant about sharing that none of these men were of Arabic decent or Muslim. They actually went out of their way to stress that. Instead they went as far as to call the acts just ‘pure vandalism’.
The trio that are still being held in jail are the ones that used metal pipes that bang on objects to cause mass confusion and hysteria.
Ricardo Gil-Toresano, a central government spokesman for Spain’s Andalucia region, explained how he saw the event that night:
‘They’re not going to do away with Easter however much they insist on games like these. The full weight of the law should come down on them. Today is a sad day.’
