Muslim ACLU Bigwig “Emphatically” Refuses to Condemn Islamic Terrorism

Muslims are still a tiny percentage of the US population, and already they are gaining enough leverage to dispense with the taqiyya:

Rana Elmir, an American Muslim and deputy director of the ACLU of Michigan, says that she “emphatically” refuses to condemn jihadist terrorists “just because I’m Muslim.”

In her provocative article in Monday’s Washington Post, Elmir claims that she is often asked to condemn Islamic terrorism, to which she replies: “I emphatically refuse.”

She defends her stance with a grab bag of standard liberal tactics, including misdirection, tu quoque, moral equivalence, relativism, and dubious assertions, shouting that “mostly white men” commit a mass killing every 2 weeks in the USA, therefore the 27,529 lethal Muslim terror attacks since 9/11 are A-okay.

Never mind the fundamental difference between isolated outbreaks of psychosis and acts consciously committed as part of a terror war. It is as if a Japanese writer in 1941 refused to condemn Pearl Harbor, and justified it with the claim that every 2 weeks people get hurt in airplane accidents involving white pilots.

Well, maybe she hasn’t completely discarded the taqiyya:

“Muslims across the globe are not threats. They are threatened,” she wrote.

Tell that to the Christians watching their children get beheaded and crucified by the Islamic State.

“Condemnation,” she says, “becomes our admission of guilt.”
