“Hanoi” Jane Fonda Apologizes For Her Treason. Should She Be Forgiven?
While we were fighting the Vietnam War, Jane Fonda went to North Vietnam to pose for propaganda pictures with people who were killing Americans. Most notoriously, she was photographed at a Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun. She also did Tokyo Rose style broadcasts, attacking her own nation.
It was nothing less than treason and Fonda richly deserved to be tried, convicted and hung by the neck until she died for her actions. In fact, it’s a shame that she wasn’t because the fact she got away with committing treason has made some of her fellow travelers on the Left realize that there is no price to be paid for encouraging people to hate their own country.
Unfortunately for Fonda, there are still a lot of Americans who love their country and they haven’t forgotten or forgiven her for betraying it.
So, periodically, Fonda gives insincere apologies for her despicable actions.
Here’s the latest one.

She was “laughing and clapping” while Americans were dying. She was “laughing and clapping” while Americans were rotting away in POW camps. She was “laughing and clapping” with her new pals who she knew were torturing American soldiers.
But, it would be convenient for her if everyone would just shrug that off because it would probably enable her to make a few bucks more off infomercials.
So, what do you think? Does she deserve a pass?

The cover of Golf Digest’s now-infamous “10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger” issue was announced on the Web about five minutes before Woods’ career-altering misadventures at the end of November. But when I finally saw the issue on the newsstand around Christmastime, it occurred to me that it may be a miniature — albeit entirely unintended — version of “Bobos In Paradise”, “The Preppie Handbook”, and other books that marked mammoth elite overreach and smugness…
