Jonathan Gruber and the Progressive Link to Genocide

ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber did us a favor by confirming that ObamaCare was packaged in deliberate lies, and that the elitists who imposed it hold the American people in contempt. He has done us another by reminding us of the family relation between modern liberalism and Nazism.

Gruber’s abortion advocacy is of a particularly pungent eugenics variety. He’s on record repeatedly making the case from social science that abortion is a “social good” because it reduces the number of “marginal children,” by which he means urban poor—those he says can be counted on to commit crimes if they were ever born.

Gruber co-authored a paper during the Clinton years which argued that legal abortion had saved the U.S. taxpayer upwards of $14 billion in welfare benefits and that it also lowered crime.

It lowers crime by lowering the population of those most likely to commit crime: blacks.

A group called 41 Percent tracks all abortions in New York City, which has an abortion rate at twice the national average, points out that the abortion rate in the largely black borough of The Bronx is an astounding 47%.

These are the types of communities Gruber meant when he referred [to] the “marginal children” who were the most likely to end up on welfare and committing crimes if they were allowed to be born.

Generous welfare payments and control of the media ensure that the Democrat Party receives over 90% of the black vote despite being the party of black genocide, just as it was the party of the KKK in the past.

If abortion as state-sponsored eugenics sounds familiar, you could be thinking of Obama’s cartoonishly sinister Science Czar John Holdren, who has advocated forced abortions, as well as both targeted and mass involuntary sterilization. Or you could be thinking of liberal demigoddess Margaret Sanger:

A couple of years ago, Margaret Sanger was named one of Time magazine’s “20 Most Influential Americans of All Time.” Given her enduring influence, it’s worth considering what the woman who founded Planned Parenthood contributed to the eugenics movement. …

She even presented at a Ku Klux Klan rally in 1926 in Silver Lake, N.J. …

In a letter to Clarence Gable in 1939, Sanger wrote: “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population…” …

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Abortion Surveillance report revealed that between 2007 and 2010, nearly 36 percent of all abortions in the United States were performed on black children, even though black Americans make up only 13 percent of our population. A further 21 percent of abortions were performed on Hispanics, and 7 percent more on other minority groups, for a total of 64 percent of U.S. abortions tragically performed on minority groups. Margaret Sanger would have been proud of the effects of her legacy.

Incidentally, Hillary Clinton is the proud recipient of Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award.

If you aren’t thinking of either Holdren or Sanger, maybe Gruber has reminded you of the Stalin apologist who thought Britain should welcome Nazi invaders “as tourists,” George Bernard Shaw, who proclaimed:

If we desire a certain type of civilisation and culture we must exterminate the sort of people who do not fit into it.

This point of view was made state policy under Hitler, with predictably horrific results.

Whether they call themselves liberals, Nazis, or Stalinists, the underlying oligarchical collectivist ideology is essentially the same.
