New York Pol Charles Barron Denounces Founding Fathers

Anything that is sacred to patriots is profane to liberals. So it was only a matter of time until the latter’s dislike of the Founding Fathers began bubbling to the surface. New York City Councilman Charles Barron is running for the State Assembly. He makes his feelings toward our Founders clear in a recent video:

The video features Mr. Barron, who has long taken exception to the lack of diversity in the art of the City Council’s ornate chamber, excitedly pointing to clear plastic bags installed to cover a statue of Thomas Jefferson and a portrait of George Washington.

“I finally did it. I bagged Thomas Jefferson,” the term-limited Mr. Barron declares, calling Mr. Jefferson a “slaveholding pedophile.”

Expect that rhetoric to be ratcheted ever upward, as liberals gather the boldness to openly attack the principles that made this country great and the heroes who personified them.

As a liberal, Barron is no advocate of individual liberty and personal responsibility. For him politics is all about looting the wealth better people have generated, and dividing the booty on a racial basis.

“We have a black, Latino and Asian caucus up there [in Albany] that I think can be more powerful and influential and I’m going to organize and work closely with them to do that,” said Mr. Barron.

“The state needs to spend more of its budget on the poor,” he added.

Obama was reelected despite his conspicuous incompetence after running on a similar platform, expressed only slightly more subtly.

More theft, more welfare, less reason for anyone to work because they will be doing so as slaves for the likes Charles Barron and Obama. Maybe it’s just as well that the Founding Fathers are on their way to marginalization. Unless we rise up and turn things around, we don’t deserve them anymore.

Charles Barron, modern American leader.
