Wisconisin Protesters Allowed To Continue To Pollute Capital Building
Written By : William Teach

It must smell horrible in there

So much for quickly returning to normal business hours at the state Capitol.

Faced with several hundred drum-beating, dancing and chanting demonstrators who refused to leave the state Capitol after the doors were shut at 4 p.m. Sunday, police decided to let the crowd spend the night and continue the protest against Gov. Scott Walker’s budget-repair bill.

“The people who are in the building will be allowed to stay,” Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs said Sunday night. “There will be no arrests unless people violate the law.”

The Wisconsin State Journal reports there were about 600 of these dirty hippies left over to spend the night. Un-showered, making a mess, making silly noises. You know, the normal for Lefties.

The state’s Department of Administration had sought to bring a sense of business-as-usual to the Capitol by establishing regular hours.

Officials said they were trying to clean the building after nearly two weeks of continuous protests.

Tubbs announced the decision to let the protesters stay after he saw how they moved aside while work crews went about cleaning the Capitol, including mopping and polishing floors.

I’m sure it did nothing for that funky smell you get when you have so many Liberals gathered together, wearing their knit hats over their greasy hair, leather sandals, and well worn clothes that never met a washing machine they loved.

“We delivered a message to Gov. Walker. We’ll continue to be here to kill this bill,” said Peter Rickman, 28, of Neenah, during a news conference held shortly before the doors shut.

And when the layoff notices go out, let us know how that works out.

There was an air of expectancy throughout the afternoon as demonstrators gathered inside the rotunda. Some came to snap photos of the many signs that hung on the walls of the building.

Among them: “Please remember this is a peaceful protest.”

Ever notice that Liberals have to constantly remind themselves to be civil and peaceful?

Wow William, even for you this is over the top. Stereotype much? Your dislike of your fellow citizens utilizing their civil rights is noted.

What a sad display of disrespect for your fellow citizens, which is disgusting enough if it were in the comments sections, but as an article on this site, it’s even more repulsive.

Your corporate masters relish their ability to turn you against people who share your interests. You are a tool, pure and simple.

    • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

Pot meet kettle, tool. (Your whole argument fell apart at ‘corporate masters’, wherein you showed yourself to be stereotyping and a tool of the left!)

      • Soldout

No comparison. I address William’s political philosophy and I dismiss him because of his politics and irrational hatred of his fellow citizens, not his appearance.

You really don’t know what your talking about, again.

        • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

And yet the crux of your argument was his stereotyping, which you then resort to yourself!

You’re trying to cover your ass, which just means you know you got caught, and I was, as usual, right.

          • Soldout

I responded to William’s irrational dislike of his fellow citizens, not his description of them. You need to read more closely.

          • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

You spoke to both or does, ‘Stereotype much?’ not exist in your first post?

And while your opinion is duly noted; William was expressing his opinion, you just disagree with it. While it does show a level of disdain for a bunch of people who are breaking the rules by camping out in the Capitol it is not wrong. If these people had followed the rules this article wouldn’t exist! If his fellow citizens hadn’t decided to act like morons, your whole point would be moot since this article wouldn’t have been written.

“Your dislike of your fellow citizens utilizing their civil rights is noted.”

The westboro baptist church protesting a funeral consists of fellow citizens exercising their civil rights.

BTW: aren’t these guys with their loud noises and offensive odors being deliberately antagonistic? As per your response the other day doesn’t that give everyone else the right to “rough ‘em up” a bit?

I’m still going to call them scumbags (usually worse actually).

Those “fellow citizens” are showing a omplete disregard for the rule of law. They SHOULD be treated with contempt and disrespect.

You have a civil right to peacefully and lawfully protest. But that right ends the moment you step over the line and become a criminal.

Hyperbolic stereotyping and deflection from the issue are duly noted.

    • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

Deflection, what deflection? Liberals refused to leave the state capital, which was the issue, and which William points out, what is he deflecting from?

Poor dishboy – you must have hidden all the mirrors. Mind you, that stained Tshirt was not appealing. Care to post those photos again?

Deflections upon deflection – it just doesn’t wash (er, sorry dishboy). Serious topics, please.

How do you deflect from the issue in an article you wrote about some specific issue?

      • Anonymous

he’s nothing but a troll. he’s not trying to debate an issue, he’s just going to spam the post and hope someone will take the bait. Just flag his inane comments and ignore them and he’ll eventually leave.

There has to be a fine for littering on public property. Enforce it, strictly.

When faced with either giving up their own money (no way to force the ‘rich’ to pay your fines for you) or even worse, clean up after themselves, these people will disperse quickly.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jayhoffer Justin Hoffer

They were told that they either accept this, or thousands of jobs will be terminated.

Time to start trimming the fat, starting with the people protesting.

After all, the capital belongs to the taxpayers, right?

    • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

Within the limits of the law, yes. Including limits to access based on acceptable usage such as closed after 4pm, as was the case here.

    • Anonymous

would a nativity scene be ok, since the people own it? right?

    • Anonymous

What’s your point, Vega? By the same line of thinking I own part of every State government building in the City of Austin. What do you think would happen to me if I suddenly decided I wanted to go visit one in the middle of the night? I’d be (correctly) charged with breaking and entering and criminal tresspass. The same applies here.

Sorry, leftists. Laws are guildelines, not sugestions. I’m all for these clowns being able to protest, when it’s legal to do so. But when they step over the line and become criminals, they should be treated as such.

The roads belong to the taxpayers, Vega, yet, you can get a ticket for going over the speed limit, running red lights, driving drunk, etc.

School buses are owned by the taxpayers, yet it is illegal to pass one that is stopped.

The taxpayers own the military bases, CIA building, White House, and US Capital Building, but, you can only visit within certain parameters.

      That’s because there are limits.

    • Anonymous

“After all, the capital belongs to the taxpayers, right?”

And these public unions are paid for dues collected from wages sustained by the taxpayers. And yet you tell us we have no right to say anything about those.

    • http://www.wordaroundthenet.com Christopher Taylor

Do you wonder why the police aren’t removing them? Because the cops say its out of solidarity with their union rather than the law or their job.

      • D-Vega

Are they in dereliction of duty? They are protecting their own futures, and the future quality of their police force.

        • http://www.wordaroundthenet.com Christopher Taylor

See above where I posted on putting union above law, duty, and orders.

The moment the protestors stayed past the 1600 closing time and refused to leave they commited criminal tresspass and thus stepped over the line from being “protestors” to being “criminals”. They should be treated as such and it’s amazing to me that they have been permitted to pull this stunt so long.

The police should have given them several verbal orders to leave the the building and then arrested the lot. Have fun with future employment with a criminal tresspass conviction (and knowing leftists and their hatred for law enforcement quite possibly a resisting arrest charges as well) on your record.

Chalk this up at yet another reason that when leftists whine about the “rule of law” their rhetoric is completely meaningless.

    • http://www.patriotpost.com bthewolf

Shut up, dishboy. You posts are removed because they are unoriginal trolling. If your only response to that is to whine, you deserve to be removed.

      • Anonymous

And the really funny part is that martha talks about a “censor”. Does he realise that Disqus hides posts based upon how many flags a post gets. It’s an automated system.

So the removal of his posts are not being done by some evil ‘ol censor, but by the community as a whole. I thought leftists were all for collective action and democracy? The removal of his posts via the flag system are an example of collective action and is indeed democracy in action.

        Heh.

The Republican MAJORITY in the legislature should charge the unions RENT (and a CLEANING FEE) for their deadbeat members living in the capital building by deducting it from the union dues they current collect for them. (That’s works out to being the same as taking money out of the pockets of the lunatic-left d-crat socialists, who ordinarily get these union dues as their bribe/payoff.)

  • http://www.wordaroundthenet.com Christopher Taylor

The police union is trying to protect these guys so far as to refuse their orders to remove protesters from the building.

That’s the problem with government unions: the union trumps all else for too many people. Law, reason, duty, job, all of that goes second to the union.
