Are Liberals Trying To Kill Tea Partiers….With Their Language?

Remember when the Left was accusing Sarah Palin of causing the Gabrielle Giffords shooting by putting her district in the crosshairs? Liberals became so sensitive about that kind language that CNN actually apologized because a guest used “crosshairs” on the air. Of course, the demands for delicate phrasing only expanded from there. It got so bad that Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-ME) even became squeamish about using the words “job killing” in connection with the health care law, presumably because it might lead to a homicidal rampage.

Fast forward six months and we’re now regularly reading liberal comments like this one from William Yeomans in the Politico.

It has become commonplace to call the tea party faction in the House “hostage takers.” But they have now become full-blown terrorists.

At this point, we seem to be left with one of two likely possibilities. Either liberals believed what they were saying after the Gabrielle Giffords shooting and are trying to induce violence against people they disagree with by using that sort of language or more likely, they were just exploiting a tragic shooting for all it was worth to smear their political enemies.
