BREAKING: Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s Replacement Announced By Fox News
We now know who will replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Fox News. Ainsley Earhardt will join Fox & Friends’ morning show. Hasselbeck left the show in December to spend more time with her family and children. Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes called Earhardt a ‘superb team player and an excellent on-air host’. When Hasselbeck left, she famously quoted in regards to her family: they ‘need the best of me, not the rest of me.’ I admire that. She put her family ahead of fame and fortune. Good for her.
From the Daily Mail:
Fox & Friends has finally found a replacement for Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
Almost two months after Hasselbeck left her post as co-host on the popular morning show, Fox News has announced that Ainsley Earhardt has been selected to join the show’s panel.
Hasseleck, 38, first announced she was leaving the show in November so she could spend more time with her husband Tim and the couple’s three children, saying they ‘need the best of me, not the rest of me.’
Earhardt began working for the network in 2007 and has been a frequent contributor and substitute host on Fox & Friends while also hosting the 5 am to 6 am hour of the show, Fox & Friends FIRST. ‘I am grateful for this opportunity and am thrilled to join Steve and Brian on the curvy couch to deliver Americans their morning news’, said Earhardt of her new role. Hasselbeck finished the year on Fox & Friends leaving on Decemmber 22 and a rotating group of co-hosts had been joining mainstays Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade until Earhardt was announced as Hasselbeck’s replacement. I look forward to the addition of Earhardt… she’s a good one.
