Eric Bolling Sues HuffPo Reporter For $50 Million For Accusing Him of Sexual Harassment

Fox News has been stricken with multiple accusations of sexual harassment and several Fox heavyweights have seen their careers destroyed because of it. This includes former chairman and CEO Roger Ailes and superstar Bill O’Reilly — and now, anchor Eric Bolling. But Bolling is fighting back.

The first allegation against Bolling was printed in the Huffington Post, where Bolling was accused of sending “inappropriate” photos of himself to female Fox News employees. Bolling continuously claimed that he was innocent — and now, he’s suing the reporter who broke the story, Yashar Ali.

Bolling is suing for defamation and is seeking $50 million in damages including “reputable, monetary, special, and punitive.” He also is looking to be reimbursed for “costs and fees.”

Friday, Ali wrote that Bolling sent unsolicited photos of his genitalia to his female co-workers at Fox years ago. Bolling was soon suspended by Fox News, but he swore that he would clear his name. Fox is currently conducting an internal investigation into the accusations against him.

In the lawsuit, Bolling called the story a “highly reckless publication of actionable false and misleading statements about the plaintiff’s conduct and character.” But Ali is not backing down, saying on Twitter that he stands by his sources and would not be intimidated, and that Bolling should be worried about what discovery could reveal:

Do you believe Eric Bolling is guilty?
