It’s Happening – Advertisers BOW To Liberal Left, Pulling Ads From Hannity

The left has successfully taken down Bill O’Reilly and forced him from Fox News and the spotlight, and apparently they’ve now turned their sights to Sean Hannity. Hannity, of course, is arguably the most conservative pundit on Fox and that simply cannot stand.

Hannity is beginning to lose advertisers, which is exactly what happened to O’Reilly shortly before his show was yanked from the air and he was fired.

Unfortunately, this appears to be the beginning of the end for Hannity, who is seeing advertisers yank their ads from his television show.

From Breitbart:

Companies including Cars.com, Peloton, and Leesa Sleep have all given in to pressure to cease advertising on the show over Hannity’s pursuit of now retracted claims made by Fox News that murdered DNC employee Seth Rich had contact with Wikileaks before his death.

The family sent a letter to Fox News demanding that Hannity stop discussing the murder of the former DNC staffer out of respect for their privacy. I can understand that, given that those claims have been retracted. At some point you have to just let the families mourn. If there is any foul play, however, it deserves to be brought to light.

Hannity, however, is feeling the repercussions of his decision to pursue the story:

“I totally and completely understand how upset and how hard this is on this family, especially over the recent coverage of Seth’s death,” he said. “I’ve been communicating with them. I got a very heartfelt note. I also sent them a heartfelt note back.”

“Out of respect for the family’s wishes” Hannity says that he will cease discussion of the story, but made it clear that he didn’t retract anything he said prior to that concession.

I don’t think this warrants the pulling of advertisers from his show, however. Who knows if that is really what’s going on here.
