Un-Biased CNN Now Giving Obama Mid-Terms Advice

Anyone remember CNN doing the same thing for Bush? No? 10 things Obama must do in 10 weeks

President Obama is facing criticism that his message has gone off track at a crucial time for his party and administration. With the midterm elections just 10 weeks away, the president’s approval ratings are at their lowest. Analysts are predicting big wins for Republicans in November.

Ten weeks is an eternity in politics, and Republican and Democratic strategists say there are some key things Obama can do in the final stretch to restore the confidence of the American people and minimize expected losses for his party.

Obama learned that being President is haaaawd work, and is just not that fun. So, CNN offers up

1. Simplify the message

Candidate Obama inspired voters in the 2008 election with a simple message of hope and change. Halfway through his term, the president now faces the complex reality of governing.

Despite the administration’s full plate, strategists say Obama needs to return to the focus and discipline that helped him win the presidency.

Actually, no. Because Obama has actually continued to do what he did as a candidate, attack attack attack. It is all partisan, all the time. Perhaps, instead, if he acted like The President Of The United States of America, things would get better. Don’t count on it.

2. Channel Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan, known as the “great communicator,” put communications front-and-center, Morey said.

“He focused and simplified the message. He communicated it. He built a consensus. He defined America’s role in the world, and that’s the challenge here,” he said.

This is good advice, however, Obama’s message of America as just another country, nothing special about it, and that it needs to be fundamentally changed is not particularly popular.

The rest

  • Propagandize the truth – as opposed to his normal BS propaganda
  • Go on the offense – he hasn’t stopped since he started campaigning for the jo
  • Put up a fight – has CNN listened to Obama’s speeches, talking points, and Saturday chats?
  • Be positive – good luck with that. The guy seems to be miserable, like most Progressives
  • Look to the future, not the past – again, good luck with that. Blame is what knows
  • Pay attention to independents – in other words, for 10 weeks, stop being your narcissistic self
  • Be prepared for Election Day … – good luck getting Obama to reach across the aisle beyond a sound bit. He will attack harder
  • … but don’t stop at November – CNN wants Obama to keep pushing his massively unpopular agenda

Missing from the list is “Man Up and take responsibility, for a change.”
