NAVY SEAL Who Shot Bin Laden Posted Amazing Tweet That Everyone’s Talking About

When it comes to trolling, there are really two groups of people: Good trolls and bad. Good trolls, like Milo, bait people into revealing what they truly believe for the benefit of everyone else. Bad trolls are just annoying and try to rile people up with no purpose other than causing chaos.

Twitter user “Assistant Janitor” is definitely the former. The account recently tweeted to CNN that Rob O’Neill wasn’t even in Afghanistan at the time that the Osama bin Laden raid took place. This message bothered a lot of people and many people didn’t get exactly what he was trying to do, which was reveal CNN’s implicit bias and desperation to make any moderately conservative figure look like a liar.

The tweet was posted on the 28th and a lot of people seemed to be extremely confused, and for good reason.

Well, there might be an explanation for that.

Assistant Janitor, who claims to be a veteran, alleges that this joke was bait not only for CNN, but for morons who believe everything they read.

Regardless of the intent, a lot of people showed their support for O’Neill on his Twitter account.

For those who are curious, yes, O’Neill was involved in the mission that ended in the assassination of terror leader Osama bin Laden. He spoke about his role in an interview with Esquire two years after the 2011 operation.

“There was bin Laden standing there … In that second, I shot him, two times in the forehead,” he recalled. “Bap! Bap! The second time as he’s going down. He crumpled onto the floor in front of his bed and I hit him again, Bap! same place.”

He was originally kept anonymous for fear of possible retaliation. He voluntarily outed himself on Fox News and identified himself as the man who took out Osama bin Laden, which put a face and a name to a hero that so many Americans admire.

Now all we have left to do is determine whether “Assistant Janitor” was really trolling, knowing that bin Laden was not shot in Afghanistan, or if he’s a moron who can’t admit that he’s wrong. In 2017, it’s difficult to tell the difference. I’m optimistic though and leaning toward troll, because I don’t want to believe that a functioning human being can be that dense.
