Top US Admiral: Mythical Global Warming Is Top Military Threat
Fortunately, it doesn’t matter that the Marines are evidently running out of bullets, because the main threat our military will address under the direction of moonbats is impervious to small arms fire. That threat is the debunked hoax formerly known as global warming:
America’s top military officer in charge of monitoring hostile actions by North Korea, escalating tensions between China and Japan, and a spike in computer attacks traced to China provides an unexpected answer when asked what is the biggest long-term security threat in the Pacific region: climate change.
Navy Admiral Samuel J. Locklear III, in an interview at a Cambridge hotel Friday after he met with scholars at Harvard and Tufts universities, said significant upheaval related to the warming planet “is probably the most likely thing that is going to happen . . . that will cripple the security environment, probably more likely than the other scenarios we all often talk about.’’
While communist China continues a massive buildup of its military, financed in part by interest payments on our government’s debt, and North Korea belligerently threatens a preemptive nuclear attack on the US mainland, Locklear focuses on creating stockpiles of supplies in preparation for the rising of the seas foretold by moonbat prophet Al Gore.
At least Locklear is aware than communist China is edging closer to attacking our ally Japan. Naturally, he sympathizes with China.
“We have an ongoing number of disputes,” Locklear said. “It is not just about China and everybody else, because there are disputes between other partners down there, too. Sometimes I think the Chinese get handled a little too roughly on this.”
He also acknowledges the threat of a free and open Internet.
In the interview, he stressed the need for a global set of guidelines for the Internet and cyberspace, which he called the modern version of the 19th century’s “Wild West,” where “the only security you brought with you was what you carried on you.”
“We made cyberspace as kind of an ungoverned territory … and we haven’t been able to get our arms around how to govern it yet,” Locklear added.
But his main concern appears to be rising sea levels caused by melting ice, caused in turn by the global warming that has existed only in the minds of liberal ideologues and their dupes for 16 years now.
Elections have consequences. One consequence of electing left-wing kooks is that top military brass will also consist of kooks, or of yes men who do their bidding.
It is inconceivable that our military could remain viable indefinitely under current leadership.
