VIDEO: Meet the Man Who Killed Bin Laden, and Hear Some Badass Advice From His Dad

The death of Osama Bin Laden was one of the most celebrated days in the country after he engineered the murders of thousands of innocent American civilians. Now, we know who it is we can thank for firing the shot that took him out: Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill.

Former Red Squadron Seal Robert O’Neil was identified as the shooter, less than a week before O’Neil was set to go public with an interview with Fox News.

O’Neil has spoken about the death of bin Laden before, but has never been identified or spoken on camera.

… Though the United States government has condemned O’Neil’s decision, his father expressed pride in his son in an interview with the Daily Mail.

“People are asking if we are worried that ISIS will come and get us because Rob is going public,” Tom O’Neil told the Mail.

“I say I’ll paint a big target on my front door and say come and get us.”

According to the Mail, O’Neil was inspired to go public after being denied certain retirement benefits by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

Along with the bin Laden raid, O’Neil was also one of the men who rescued the Lone Survivor Marcus Luttrell and participated in the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips.

So one of the greatest, most highly decorated American heroes is being denied his retirement benefits?? Damn right he should go public, and give a big middle finger to the White House while he’s at it.
