What This Steakhouse Did for a 92-Year-Old WWII Veteran Will Warm Your Heart

A 92-year-old WWII veteran went out to eat on his birthday at an Outback Steakhouse recently. But when the meal was done what the steakhouse did will warm your heart.

When WWII vet Bob Nieman got his bill he found that the steakhouse paid the whole thing off for him and also wrote “thank you for your service” at the bottom of the receipt.

“Thank you for your service!!” the note read. It was signed, “Very grateful Americans.”

“I did 27 years on the Police Dept. and people never cease to amaze me in bad & good ways. My Dad is my hero & this was I think more of a happy moment for me than him, seeing someone appreciate him in this way actually brought a [sic] tears to my eyes,” Nieman said in a written message to Opposing Views.

Now this shows that there are still some nice stories out there to report, doesn’t it? It sort of renews your faith in people a little bit.
