We have two days to turn 5 of these senators around and convince them that they shouldn't sell out America, but honestly -- the odds are against our pulling it off. However, that doesn't mean it's impossible. Some of these senators may drop off if an amendment they support isn't voted on or if it loses a vote. Additionally, a few of these senators are undoubtedly planning on playing the old "fool the rube" game where they vote for cloture and then vote against the final bill.

Don't let them get away with that. Don't let them think you're not paying attention. Contact them -- TODAY -- and either thank them for voting the right way or tell them how bitterly upset and disappointed you are that they voted for amnesty.

Here's how you can get in touch with them,

#1) Pick up the phone and call your senators. You can get the numbers and/or email addresses of your home state senators here.

#2) Call the National Republican Senatorial Committee at (202) 675-6000 and let them know that you will not support the reelection of any senator in 2008 who votes for the amnesty bill in the Senate.

#3) Call the Republican National Committee at (202) 863-8500 (option 1) and let them know you will not support any candidate in 2008 who votes for the amnesty bill in the Senate

Again, if you don't want to call them, email them or fax them.

PS: If we can't stop the bill in the Senate, then we can always get "payback" afterwards, but I'd prefer winning in the first place to starting a vendetta after a loss.
