John Hawkins Excerpt Of The Day: An Amnesty Bill Probably Couldn't Pass The House Either

"House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) said Bush could count on 175 to 180 House Democrats to support a similar, comprehensive immigration bill, leaving the White House to deliver at least 40 Republicans in a body that has been far more polarized.
