John Hawkins If Christianity Is So Dangerous...

"Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America." -- Rosie O'Donnell

A lot of liberals and anti-Christian left-wingers like Christopher Hitchens and Andrew Sullivan seem to come from the same place as Rosie on this issue, so since that's the case, why aren't we hearing more about this?

THE artist behind a controversial work depicting terrorism mastermind Osama bin Laden morphing into Jesus today invited those considering her work to look a little more deeply than the obvious comparison of good and evil.

...Bracks' work and a statue of the Virgin Mary wearing an Islamic burqa by Sydney artist Luke Sullivan have been entered into Australia's top religious art competition, the Blake Prize.

Where are the world wide Christian riots? Why haven't any stores been burned down? Why haven't there been any boycotts against Australia? Why hasn't Bracks been forced to go into hiding? Where's the Fatwa from the Pope? Where are the guys with signs like this?

Then, in the midst of rioting and threats, we could have Christian organizations across the country issuing press releases warning everyone not to discriminate against Muslims while moderate Christians studiously avoided commenting on the bloodshed or condemning the people causing trouble. As an extra added bonus, Christians could then speculate that Jews were really behind the whole thing and are trying to frame Christians while simultaneously taking pride in the fact that Christians are finally "standing up for themselves."

Next thing you know, liberal papers would stop running anti-Christian cartoons and Hollywood would dramatically cut back on any movies featuring Christian bad guys.

If Christians are really so threatening and dangerous (remember the crusades (only 800 years ago) and the inquisition (only 500 years ago)) then I'm sure we'll see the things get out of hand in Australia any day now.
