The honest truth is that the global warming alarmists, environmental wackos, and anti-capitalist, regulation-happy liberals in Congress have far more to do with the high price of energy in this country than the Saudis or the oil companies do. You simply cannot strangle the supply of energy at every opportunity and then credibly point the finger elsewhere when demand ends up driving prices through the roof.
