Another Rant: First, It Was Fat, Now, It's Intelligent Black Men - Right Wing News (Conservative News and Views)

Here's an email I received today. It was one line and summed up the Left quite nicely, so I thought I'd share:

"It's hillarious how terrified all you right wingnuts are of an intelligent, black man!"

Yes, well, it's hilarious how liberals can't find their spell-checker, but I digress. Here is my response to this nonsense:

It's hilarious how sensitive leftists are when black men are criticized for the content of their beliefs, ideology, and character. Why, when they're given the same treatment as white men, they seem to wither under the assault--"they" being the leftists.
I'm friends with and support intelligent, black men and white men and women. Look at my Flickr photos. You'll find me enthusiastically hugging Michael Steele and he's really, really black. But you know what? His color or gender doesn't matter to me. It's his ideas that I agree with.

When liberals stop whining about skin color and start coming up with worthwhile policy solutions, maybe they'll get more respect. In the meantime, cling to the notion that wingnuts are racists. It will make you feel better, but it won't win you elections.

I am so sick of this mindless generalization. Here's a warning now, again: If Obama loses, it's not because he espouses socialist policy and couldn't find the red button if a nuke was sitting on his enormous head courtesy our "friends" in Iran, it's because he's black and Americans, especially, wingnuts, are racist.

It's actually the leftists, like this nutjob, who are afraid. Since when was it wrong to criticize politicians?

The left is afraid to criticize a black man because they're still stuck on the issue of race. If human beings are imperfect then black people, like everyone else, are imperfect.

The problem is that the left has thrown racism charges at their critics so much that now the charge has no merit. The more they scream of racism the more the American people see right through this charade.

The Left in this country has no issue whatsoever criticizing black people. In fact, they have no problem criticizing black people for being too black or even not black enough?

What, you don't beleive me? Really?

Well, just the other day, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Michael Steele, Alan Keys, J.C. Watts, and I were discussing this very subject...

Even worse, Kingfisher, the left have become almost the exclusive users of the outmoded concept of race and racism in political debate. It's not bad enough that they did the 'boy who cried wolf' thing with racism, they've completely taken over the whole subject and are they only ones who use it anymore.

The left have a hard time fathoming that certain ideas just suck (Communism, Fascism, etc.). When someone challenges their ideas, it must be because that person is racist, greedy, or just evil. They can't believe that maybe their idea is just plain bad. That's the benefit of being in an echo chamber: no one challenges your views.

Yeah, we're so terrified of an intelligent black man that we enthusiastically backed Colin Powell to not only Chair the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then represent the country to the world as Secretary of State (while also practically being begged to run for President).

Really, if Colin Powell and Condi Rice started a third party and ran for the White House they would probably win. I'd be inclined to vote for them over Obama and McCain anyways.

What makes you think we agree that Obama is intelligent? The man's a boob, just like every other lib candidate you have fielded for years. He just happens to be black this time--no difference to us on that account. Just because he went to Harvard etc doesn't make him an abject ignoramus otherwise...the world is full of "educated" liberal morons. Get out on the street and see all of the "uneducated" geniuses out there who haven't been poisoned by the "education" system. Even so, I just don't think this guy is that bright anyway.

This is but another deflection in the left's arsenal to turn legitimate criticism into a personal attack on those that would speak the truth. The left is expert at this, including the recent (before Hillary was thrown under the bus)"you're just afraid of a smart woman" or the one word put down "homphobe."

All of this is just a preamble to their long list of hate crimes, which includes all things of traditional value. This will be instituted when they regain power. Free speech to a leftist does not include the right to speak the truth!

Maybe the rest, but I am not sure of Watts, he seems too mccainish for my taste.
