There's one thing -- and just one thing -- that I admire about Jerome Corsi: that is his genius for self-promotion. He was involved with the Swift Boat Vets, which created an electoral earthquake during the 2004 election, his was the primary guy behind the North American Union hoax, which was much discussed, and now he has the #1 book in the country, The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality. For that, I applaud him.
However, there is one enormous problem with Jerome Corsi: he's a habitually dishonest buffoon who will say absolutely anything to make a buck. He's the Right's Michael Moore, except that Michael Moore has much more talent -- and certain boundaries beyond which, even he won't go. Corsi, on the other hand, would probably write "Aliens in charge at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" if he thought he could make a few bucks off it.
Keep in mind, folks, this is the same lunatic who has been running around for years telling people that George Bush is going to somehow personally merge the US, Canada, and Mexico over the objections of the American people and Congress. In other words: Jerome Corsi is a conspiracy nut whose credibility level is zero.
Just to hammer home the point, let me post a few previous Jerome Corsi quotes and after reading them, you tell me how much trust you can have in any "research" he has done on Barack Obama,
"Why doesn't President Bush just tell the truth? His secret agenda is to dissolve the United States of America into the North American Union.""...If President Bush had run openly in 2004 on the proposition that a prime objective of his second term was to form the North American Union and to supplant the dollar with the "Amero," we doubt very much that President Bush would have carried Ohio, let alone half of the Red State majority he needed to win re-election."
"...(Unless something is done), "the North American Union will become a reality in 2010 as planned."
Oh yeah, let's put this embarrassing nutjob on point in the attack against Barack Obama -- what could go wrong?

Corsi got it right on John Kerry and Barrack Hussein Obama but got it wrong on 911. Its time for a pier review on Corsi's 911 "evidence".

Corsi obviously has his faults, but he's doing something here that needs to be done, whether you like him or not.

Plus, he must be hitting a nerve, since the Obama crazies are already going ballistic about this book being out there.
Imagine somebody actually having the gall to expose the truth about the Holy Obamanation!

Robert108 said it right, it sucks to have to get Corsi along with a little examination of Obama. I am glad for the book. And may buy it this weekend just to help keep the sales up.

What's a pier review? Is that where you take his evidence and toss it into the sea or something?

That said, I have only read the first chapter of each, so, we'll see.

But while we are at it, can we toss a few more dishonest ranters in with Corsi? Arianna Huffington / the Democratic Underground bloggers / Anne Coulter / Van Helsing ??? mmmm?

We, OTOH, if we are going to be TRUE TO OUR PRINCIPLES, that we actually think before we speak or act, analyze our positions based on ACTUAL FACTS, and try to apply a little logic and reason to the process, we MUST NOT allow nitwits like Corsi to be our spokespeople - in this case, the messenger gives the lie to the message.
Much as I agree that we need MORE people researching and revealing the scary and pathetic truths about Obambi, we HAVE to do better than Corsi.
And, as much as the Left loves to hate Limbaugh and O'Reilly and Hannity, NO ONE who actually listens to them can credit the Left's stupid tropes of "hate speech" or even major lies/inaccuracies (in my experience, all THREE of them generally have their facts pretty much correct; it's where they GO with those facts that really drives the Left nuts). That's why they are as popular, and influential, as they are. (By the way, NONE of the foregoing is a personal endorsement - I find Limbaugh pompous and simplistic, O'Reilly an egomaniac, and Hannity a dimbulb, but they are STILL miles ahead of any leftwing redio commentators.)
For the same reasons as we need to run, not walk, away from Corsi, we need to stay the hell away from bony conservative harpy Ann Coulter. Again, her positions are usually correct; her rhetoric does our cause no good, and potentially much harm. If we NEED a female commentator to carry our views to women radio listeners or readers, Laura Ingraham is a MUCH better choice.

Conspiracies continue exactly because there's no evidence to support them, sometimes (such as in this case) in spite of all evidence being to the contrary. People will cling to it based on gut instinct and feelings, suspicions and fears, regardless of the facts at hand.

I don't like the fact that one of the main Gurus of the SPP,{don't remember his name}, endorses the idea of a NAU,....money and all.
Those kinds of ideas sometimes turn into real deeds,....ala "EU".
Those people are nothing but dangerous elites, IMO, and given the chance, would do away with borders and soverignty on the holy alter of the almighty dollar.
I just think it pays to be vigilant,...and I sure as hell don't trust BOOSH either.
Why else would he refuse to close the border after 8 years?
Corsi may be wrong, but at least, he's bringing out the possibilities of what could happen, because of the fact that our govt ignores the will of the people most of the time.
IOW, the govt treats the constitution as "just another G.D. piece of paper"!

What, exactly would it take to shake that conspiracy out of your mind? Is it even possible?

Chris, what it would take to "shake conspiracy" out of my mind, would be a good reason why BOOSH wants to give amnesty and stubbornly failed to secure the border for 8 years, even after "9/11"!
He wouldn't even enforce the employer laws until just recently,.....called Minute men "Vigilantes",.....let his a-hole buddy, Johnny Sutton, railroad Ramos and Campeon.
Jobs that Americans wouldn't do,....kissed Foxxs' ass,....allows Mexican military to cross our borders with impunity, threatening our BP agents.
The list goes on and on.
Where have you been all this time, Chris,...asleep?
