rwnadmin Action First: Help Save Saxby Chambliss!

A group called Action First asked me to help publicize their efforts to save Saxby Chambliss' seat in Georgia. Since they seem to be doing good work and since that seat is in more danger than most people realize, I agreed.

Here is an excerpt from their email to me,

...We need 200 volunteers to head to Georgia on to an area near Atlanta to help with Saxby Chambliss' Senate run-off race. We will be doing GOTV efforts. The funding is coming from the RNC. All transportation will be covered as well as hotel expenses... plus I believe each person will receive a per Diem amount for spending. There is plenty of work to be done. I am going to enclose the Facebook description about the event:

The link to sign up is below and the Facebook group is listed here

...Below is the Facebook description for the event:

"On December 2nd Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss of Georgia will try to hold off his Democratic challenger Jim Martin in a runoff vote that is looking more and more likely to determine whether or not the Democrats can assemble a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.

Buses will depart late in the evening Friday, November 28th and work will commence in Georgia the morning of the 29th. All food, housing and transportation costs will be covered.. The buses will return the evening of Tuesday, December 2nd after the victory party.

To sign-up, please click on the following link and fill out all necessary information. An Action First regional representative will follow-up with you upon receiving your application.
