Van Helsing Republicans Rebel Against McCain's Campaign-Finance Idiocy

There is one good thing about the election of the Moonbat Messiah: the era of the misguided RINO John McCain is finally ending:

The Republican Party will file federal lawsuits Thursday seeking to overthrow the McCain-Feingold federal campaign finance regulations, Republican National Committee Chairman Robert M. "Mike" Duncan revealed Wednesday night at a private dinner with the nation's Republican governors.

The move is considered a slap in the face of the Republican Party's failed 2008 presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, who was dramatically outspent by Democrat Barack Obama, and of President Bush, who signed McCain-Feingold into law in 2002.

McMaverick was hoisted on his own anti-Constitutional petard. Unfortunately the entire party was hoisted along with him, as less money was available for congressional races due to coordination restrictions.

His campaign-finance idiocy — backed to the hilt by the left-wing media and signed into law by a certain stooge who probably thought he could count on the Supremes to strike it down — makes it all the easier for zillionaire moonbats like George Soros to influence elections through 527s. With any luck, Republicans will rid the system of this albatross — though their most important tasks are to clean out the RINOs and to come up with some decent candidates.

John McCain
Hoisted.
