John Hawkins The Price Of Being A Conservative Sell-Out

Kathleen Parker -- who spent weeks trashing Sarah Palin in the run-up to the election in order to try to endear herself to the liberal media and D.C. cocktail set -- seems to have alienated a few of the conservatives in flyover country judging by her column rankings at Townhall,

Kathleen Parker is lame

I bet George Will, David Frum, David Brooks, Christopher Buckley, and Peggy Noonan loved her material though-- and isn't currying favor with people like that, getting appearances on the Colbert Report, and being able to make droll comments about the conservative hoi-polloi over caviar what it's all about for people like Kathleen Parker?

PS: A comment that has probably been overheard at the Will, Brooks, Buckley, Noonan, Frum, and Parker household in the last few months, "Being a conservative columnist would be great if it wasn't for all of those d*mn conservatives!"
