As many of you have no doubt heard, Jack Kemp passed away this week-end. Many people remember Jack Kemp as Bob Dole's VP, but he was also one of the greatest champions of supply side economics during the Reagan years. This country has been incredibly prosperous since Ronald Reagan was first elected in 1980 and Jack Kemp deserves some of the credit for that. He also deserves a favorable mention because he was one of the biggest champions of using conservative policies to benefit poor Americans.
