North Korea NEXT… US Navy Strike Group On Way To Korean Peninsula

After a sudden and frankly shocking airstrike against Syria, it looks as if America might be out for North Korea as well.

North Korea has been trying to flex its nuclear muscle for quite some time in an attempt to intimidate… someone. Unfortunately for them, America carries a much bigger arsenal than they do and we know our munitions can get to their designated target.

In a blatant show of force, a US Navy strike group is headed toward the Korean Peninsula, a United States official told Reuters. The movement is in response to advancements in North Korea’s weapons program.

The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.

“We feel the increased presence is necessary,” the official said, citing North Korea’s worrisome behavior.

While in a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Donald Trump stressed the need to curb North Korea’s ballistic capabilities.

Trump’s national security aides have completed a review of U.S. options to try to curb North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs. These include economic and military measures but lean more toward sanctions and increased pressure on Beijing to rein in its reclusive neighbor.

Although the option of pre-emptive military strikes on North Korea is not off the table, the review prioritizes less-risky steps and de-emphasizes direct military action.

Whether this is a good idea that will hopefully cause North Korea to think twice about potential action is completely up in the air. We will only know in hindsight if it worked, but something needs to be done about that tubby little brat and it was clear that Obama wasn’t about to rock the boat in any meaningful way. Let’s just hope this works out in our favor.
