Already IRS Cannot Account for $67 Million From ObamaCare Slush Fund

The ObamaCare debacle hasn’t even been implemented yet, and already:

The IRS is unable to account for $67 million spent from a slush fund established for Obamacare implementation, according to a Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) report released [Wednesday].

The “Health Insurance Reform Implementation Fund” (HIRIF) was tucked into Obamacare in order to give the IRS money to enforce the tax provisions of the healthcare law. The fund, totaling some $1 billion of taxpayer money, was used to roll out enforcement mechanisms for the approximately 50 tax provisions of Obamacare.

The IRS has been given a central role in imposing ObamaCare.

Check back in a couple of years. Tens of $billions will be vanishing from ObamaCare funds through graft and incompetence.

There are rules in the hard sciences that simply cannot be violated. The same applies to political science. Prominent among them: The larger and more powerful the government, the more corrupt and inefficient it will be.
