NYPD Fires Back After NYC Terrorist’s Family Slams Police Officers [VIDEO]

The family of the failed suicide bomber who tried to take out a whole bunch of New Yorkers in the subway yesterday because they had Christmas posters up, is outraged over… the actions of the police. After they made that statement through CAIR, the backlash was massive and hot. They said the police were guilty of heavy-handed tactics. “Let me get this correct, your son walks in a public place wearing a bomb and your outrage at the behavior of the police…too bad get over it!!!” the Sergeant’s Benevolent Association tweeted, representing just a small sample of the public outcry directed at the family of Akayed Ullah. I could not agree more.

Ullah, 27, is a Bangladeshi man who came to the US seven years ago through chain migration. He lives in New York and is said to be a very religious man. Evidently so… he’s an Islamic radical inspired by ISIS. He strapped a suicide vest on with a pipe bomb attached with Velcro and zip ties. It failed to detonate correctly and Ullah received severe burns on his hands, chest and abdomen for his trouble. Five New Yorkers were also injured, but will recover. If it had gone off the way it was supposed to, there would have been mass casualties.

His family is angry because investigators ‘interrogated’ his family members after the attack. Too freaking bad. They also say they are ‘heartbroken’ by the violence. “We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today, and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” the family statement released by CAIR legal director Albert Fox Cahn said. Then they heavily insinuated their son did not do it. The whole family should be deported immediately. Ullah has a wife and child in Bangladesh. I guess he never planned to see them again. What a winner.

This is my favorite part: “But we are also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who have held children as small as four years old out in the cold and who held a teenager out of high school classes to interrogate him without a lawyer, without his parents.” You guys have brass balls saying that after Ullah tried to massacre people the way he did. They don’t even say whose children they are. Excuse me if I have a whole lack of sympathy here.

The family said they have “every confidence” the U.S. justice system will “find the truth behind this attack.” They already have. The only thing left to determine is if Ullah’s family helped him in his Jihad. The family set social media on fire with their statement. They offended the hell out of people. “Sorry our son tried to blow up a lot of you on your way to work today, but the cops were kinda rude to us after that and we want answers,” ex-CIA analyst and radio host Buck Sexton tweeted. Nice mockery… wish I’d said that.

Talk show host Montel Williams tweeted: “This moronic, offensive, morally indefensible statement by CAIR lawyer @CahnLawNY just cost @CAIRNational my support. I’m done.” I’m not a fan of Montel, but he’s right on the money here. “I don’t understand this…the guy tried to kill innocent people with no regard and the family is now upset at some inconveniences?? Would they have felt bad if there were “inconvenient” funerals! #usa this insanity has to stop,” Twitter user @RealityBeaker stated. “Rude? Attempting to murder innocent Americans, while your family and son are privileged guests, entitles you to be handled with kit gloves? REALLY? You haven’t anything worthy of sympathy, America wants and deserves the answers,” @CindySm92914679 tweeted. Sometimes I REALLY love Twitter. @SkipTerrio weighed in: “The only thing the ‘Ullah family” should be saying is, “We are profoundly sorry for unleashing a psychopath into your midst.'”

The police, FBI and DHS owe no one an explanation here. They acted professionally and did their jobs in the midst of chaos. They don’t need to apologize especially to a terrorist’s family. Ullah said he was angered by U.S. policies on the Middle East when he conceived the attack (a year ago), the criminal complaint said. He wrote on Facebook before boarding a crowded subway train that Trump has “failed to protect” the nation. Ullah was charged Tuesday with supporting an act of terrorism, making terroristic threats and criminal possession of a weapon.
