John Hawkins And Tabitha Hale Reading A Scene From Gone With The Wind
Written By : John Hawkins

Wendy Sullivan over at Girl On The Right has a thing for Southern accents, particularly mine and Tabitha Hale’s. She has often asked us to do a scene from Gone With The Wind for her.

So, for her birthday, Tabitha and I actually read out the “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn” scene from Gone With The Wind. Tabi did a wonderful job. Me? I’m not so sure. Rhett Butler had this deadpan, under-emoting style in that movie and I found it a bit hard to capture. Had I spent an hour on it, as opposed to just watching a YouTube clip of it, I might have gotten it down really well. As is, I think the scene still sounded pretty good. Enjoy!
