Colin Powell Recites Democrat Talking Points in Support of Voter Fraud

Just what does it take to get an unhinged left-wing kook thrown out of the GOP? Endorsing a Marxist against his own party’s candidate didn’t work the first time or even the second. Publicly palling around with wild-eyed Whitey-hater Louis Farrakhan didn’t work. Denouncing gun rights and accusing his party of anti-black racism even after it had made him Secretary of State at least in part because of his politically advantageous race didn’t work either. Let’s see if this does the trick:

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell says the Republican Party should abandon its efforts to curb voter participation through voter ID laws…

“The Republican Party should be a party that says, ‘We want everybody to vote,’ and make it easier to vote and give them a reason to vote for the party, not to find ways to keep them from voting at all.”

Lest anyone take this phony rhetoric at face value, I’ll translate: “Republicans had better not challenge us on systemic voter fraud, or out comes the race card yet again.”

If Powell didn’t pretend to be a Republican himself, no one would listen to him; he would be just another open mouth in a vast crowd of vicious moonbats. But as a black Republican who hates Republicans, he is guaranteed an avid audience from the “mainstream” media. The GOP is highly unlikely to develop enough backbone to toss him out, so he can bite again and again, like a rattlesnake left in a baby’s crib by parents too cowardly to do anything about it.
