GOP HIT JOB: Nikki Haley Targets Donald Trump in SOTU Response… Disgraces Republicans

In what I can only describe as a lowly and despicable move[1], Nikki Haley used the SOTU response to attack Donald Trump. She was hand picked by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell for the speech. Is anyone surprised? The whole incident was GOP approved by the way. Haley even admitted the whole thing to Don Lemon. She appeared to compare Trump to the rioters in Ferguson and Baltimore as well. I’m thoroughly revolted by the Republicans over this. If they wanted to guarantee a Trump presidency, they just did so. Americans aren’t stupid and will be incensed by this RINO, elitist move. Instead of attacking Obama, they went for Trump. What does that tell you?

Nikki Haley, the South Carolina governor hand-picked by House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell to give the Republican response to President Obama’s State of the Union addressed, confirmed Wednesday morning that she did indeed target GOP frontrunner Donald Trump[3] and that the speech was approved in advance by Republican leaders.

Probably because Chris Cuomo isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer[4], Don Lemon was rousted out of bed early to interview Haley on CNN’s “New Day.” Haley not only confirmed she was targeting Trump, she seemed to compare him to the rioters in Ferguson and Baltimore.

LEMON: I think I want to start with that soundbite. You said the ‘loudest voices in the room.’ Was that comment directed at Donald Trump?

HALEY: Partially him, but a lot of people. You know, a lot of what I was talking about is that we’ve seen across our country — if you look at Ferguson and Baltimore we are seeing that people have to be loud, they have to be angry to have their voices heard.

Haley want on to say that, “I’m very thankful Speaker Ryan and Senator McConnell let me give the speech I wanted to give.” When asked if the GOP leaders approved of her text in advance, she confirmed, “They did.”

Haley certainly got love from CNN and NBC over her comments. Trump is far and away the front runner in the GOP nomination race. To attack him this way in a SOTU response is unheard of. It shows whose side the Republicans are truly on. As John Nolte said, “for the good of the country, this suicidal Republican Establishment temple must come down and be ground into dust.” One way or another, the Republican Party is through. Either Trump or Cruz will win the nomination and it will be reformed, or Bush or Rubio will get the nod and the two party system will be dead. If there was ever a time to revolt within the Republican Party, this is it. Shame on them.
