Marco Rubio Asks His Supporters To Help Scott Brown

Will Scott Brown make liberals across America go to sleep on pillows soggy with their own tears next week? We don’t know for sure. If you had to bet, you’d have to say the odds are against Brown pulling out a victory in ultra-liberal Taxachusetts.

However, Brown legitimately has a shot to win. Rasmussen shows him right in the thick of the race, Democrats are dispirited, and the Right is fired up. That’s why the Democratic Party has had to pour a million dollars into Massachusetts to try to save what they refer to as “Ted Kennedy’s seat” and the rest of us refer to as “the people’s seat.”

How important is a victory? So important that Marco Rubio actually sent out an email yesterday to his supporters. That’s no big surprise, right? Politicians are always asking for more support from their supporters. Here’s the difference: Marco Rubio was asking his supporters to help Scott Brown:

I’ll be quick.

There is an extremely important election I would like to briefly speak to you about.

And it’s not mine.

Next week, voters in Massachusetts will go the polls to elect a new United States Senator.

The choice is clear: a liberal establishment Democrat who will rubberstamp the big spending Obama agenda. Or a surging Republican who will fight to stop it.

Today, I am asking you to help Republican Scott Brown win the Senate race in Massachusetts for one simple, but powerful reason: he represents the vote we need to stop the radical Obama-Reid-Pelosi government health care hijacking now being plotted in Washington.

So please take a moment in the next few days to do three simple things:

1. Contribute to Scott’s campaign today. Every little bit will help Scott fight back and finish strong.

2. Make calls. The campaign has set up a “call from home” program and EVERY conservative in America can help. Are you willing to make 15 or more calls to help stop the radical left agenda by the Obama-Reid-Pelosi team?

3. Tell at least 5 of your family and friends to do the same.

Thanks for your support.

Sincerely,

Marco Rubio

Know what that’s called? That’s called leadership and we could use a lot more of it from Republicans in the Senate, which is where Rubio is going to be when he whips Crist and then his Democratic opponent Kendrick Meek.

Back to Scott Brown for a moment — take a look at this commercial and tell me you don’t want this guy in the Senate, taking the place of the Democrats’ 60th rubber stamp vote:

Now, you may be saying — “Gee, times are tough and I don’t have a lot of money. So, how can I help?” Here’s the good news: The biggest thing you can do to help Scott Brown get in the Senate is to make get-out-the-vote phone calls and thanks to the wonders of modern technology, you can do that from your own home. Go here, sign in, and do your part to help Scott Brown turn Massachusetts into Chappaquiddick for Obama’s agenda.
